Alexander graham bell was born in scotland, march 3, 1847. alEck's mom was deaf. that is why alEck was obsessed with sounds.

When aleck was little he was obsessed with sounds. He loved to play the piano. he used his dog to experiment with sounds too. he felt when his dog barked, be vibrated!

He and his brother made a "talking machine" and if you blew air through it and moved the lips, it would speak! they made it say, "mama."

aleck hired a man called watson to hep him with his invention with sounds. Watson and aleck went to fairs and showed people how their "telephone" worked. aleck was on one side of the the phone and watson was on the other side of it 20 miles away. aleck could hear watson sing. It worked!

Watson made the telephone ring. when someone called, it rang! Aleck made other inventions, too, like different kinds of boats, airplanes and kites that go over 70 miles perhour.

ALeck dies in 1922 when he was 75. because he made the telephone we don't have to walk all over the place to talk to people!

One thing I've learned is to help others.

This Person is a changemaker because:

1.he was brave because he never ran away when things got tough.

2.he was strong because he never gave up when it took him a long time yo make the telephone.

3. he never gave up [persevered] because even though it took him a long time to work on his

invention he never gave up.

My Changemaker is connected to Leonardo
