PARK RULES1. Violation of park rules is cause for removal2. Smoking is not allowed in any facility3. Quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.4. Minors must be supervised at all times5. Sponsors of non-military guests are responsible for guest’s behavior, rentals, etc. 6. Pets are permitted in “pet friendly” facilities. Please no pets on beach or swimming areas 7. Fires permitted in grills or fire rings ONLY (Check Comal County Burn Bans ).8. Possession of firearms or weapons of any kind is prohibited by Federal law 9. Leave No Trace & Pack in, Pack Out10. Towing enforced in no parking zones11. Swim at your own risk. No lifeguards posted 12. Fireworks, hunting, glass containers are prohibited13. No fishing or swimming off marinas or docks. Fishers welcome to use fishing piers and shoreline outside of swim areas. 14. Beach and swim area closed at dusk, park closes at 10 p.m. Day use patrons must vacate at close.
RESERVATION POLICY• Active duty can reserve 6 months in advance.• Retirees, DoD civilians, and dependents: 3 months in advance. *Policy based on AFI 34-110 table use and eligibility • Reservations can be made in person, by email or phone. • Reservations are not transferrable from one party to another.• Visa or Master Card will be charged the morning of check-in.
Pavilion/Group Camping Area/Picnic Area:• Pavilion and picnic areas are day use only.• Day use ends at 10 p.m.
Campsites:• Camp sites are available on a first-come, first serve basis. • All fire rings and grills are cleaned by the customer.• Check-out time for campsites is 11 a.m.
Lodging:• Check-in time is 3-10 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m.• Only one unit may be rented per DoD card holder. Except for holiday weekends when it is one per household.• Maximum stay in the park is one month. After that time, customer must vacate the park for a minimum of one day prior to another stay. Customer stays are limited to 180 days out of a calendar year.• There is a 2-night minimum on weekends & holiday stays.
Cancellations:• Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance of check-in time will be made free of charge, 24 hours prior to check-in time will be charged a $15 administrative fee and 24 hours of check-in time will be charged a one day usage fee. The full payment will be forfeited if the customer fails to contact the JBSA Recreation Park Reception Center.

Cleaning/Pet Fee• Cleaning fees for lodging may be assessed at $100. Pet fines of $100 will be assessed if pets are found in lodging units that are not designated as “pet friendly”.
What to bring• Guest must provide their own toiletries, towels and cleaning solutions. Bunk houses and Bungalows must provide own linens as well.
Amenities: • Hancock Cove: Soccer fields, sand beach volleyball court, country store (offers basic goods and season items), laundry facility, playgrounds, walking trails, viewing decks,boat launch and fishing pier. One-day pass included with lodging only. Not with the pavilions or campsites.
• SunnySide: Pebble beach, playground, boat launch, fishing pier, hiking/nature trails and the Sunnyside Store which has soda, water, ice and maps. One-day pass included with lodging only. Not with pavilions or campsites.

The park is open to the public and has six covered picnic areas, a beach and a boat launch. The park closes at full capacity and does not allow customers re-entry. $20 entry per vehicle and must pay to re-enter park. The 502 FSS is not responsible for lost, stolen or damage property.
