WHAT IS COPYRIGHT? An author, composer, publisher, and
distributor is given the right to publish, produce, and sale a
piece of owned work whether it is published or unpublished.

you to recover up to $150,000 without having to prove monetary
harm. Before legally permitted to bring a lawsuit and enforce

WHEN TO REGISTER? As soon as the work has been finalized Your
work is protected immediately A certificate of registration is sent

TEACH ACT REQUIREMENTS The institute needs to be accredited and
a non-profit educational institution. The use needs to be part of
mediated instructional activities. The use must be limited to a
specific number of students enrolled in a specific class. The use
needs to be for live or asynchronous classes. The use must not
include transmission of textbook materials.
