Antiquax Natural Beeswax is based on pure natural beeswax for use on previously sealed surfaces and is made fromthe highest quality waxes to clean, polish and protect wooden furniture.

How to use: Simply use a clean cotton cloth and apply the Beeswax in the direction of the wood grain wherepossible. To obtain a consistent finish, always wipe evenly, blending the Beeswax over the whole surface area.

Antiquax Brown Wax is a solid wax based upon superlative natural waxes, specially designed to protect andnourish dark woods such as Mahogany, Dark Oak and Teak. It provides a lasting and durable wax sheen to

craftsman standards.

How to use: Apply sparingly with a soft cloth working into and along the grain. Allow to dry to a haze and polishwith a clean soft cloth, again, working along the grain to reveal the sheen. Repeat regularly to develop a fine

patina and enhance the grain.

How to use: Shake container thoroughly before use. Apply to a clean dry cloth and work over the surface in apolishing motion. Allow to dry to a light haze then buff to a deep shine using a new, clean, dry, soft cloth.

RING ReMoveRAvailable in 250ml

Antiquax Ring Remover is easy to use and will gently remove ring marks from polished wooden surfaces, whilstleaving a pleasant citrus fragrance.

How to use: Shake well before use. Spray lightly directly onto the stain, and rub gently with a soft cloth in the

direction of the grain. Do not use a circular motion. Remove any remaining liquid on completion. Rebuild the finish asnecessary using a good quality Antiquax polish.

Spray on and watch the dirt and dust fall off. Antiquax Crystal and Chandelier Cleaner is fitted with a special high capacity nozzle that allows thecleaner to spray further than conventional aerosols. This feature makes the process easier, faster and more economical.

How to use: Always switch power supply off at the mains. If application is located over carpets, or other decorative

surfaces, place polythene sheet directly underneath t he appliance then plenty of newspapers, old cloths etcon top of it to catch and absorb drips and product run-off. Shake can well, stand to one side and spray copiously.Allow to run off the appliance. Repeat if heavily soiled. Allow to dry naturally. Ensure any treated appliance is

Two-part clear cold cure lacquer for use on wood,hardboard, cork and plastic laminates. Extremely

good adhesion, resistant to heat, solvents and

abrasion. Can be burnished to a mirror like gloss

steel wool and wax. An excellent finish formarquetry as it does not darken light coloured

veneers and does not yellow or craze on ageing.

How to...DANISH OIL

Preparation: The surface must beclean, bare and sanded smooth. Oilywoods (e.g. Teak, Iroko) should becleaned thoroughly with white spirit tohelp penetration and improve adhesion.Bare wood may be dyed with Rustins Wood Dye. The dyemay also be added to Danish Oil but the colour will be a

lighter shade. If a natural open-grain is not required useRustins Grainfiller before oiling.

Application: Using a clean soft cloth or brush apply liberally,then wipe off the excess after a few minutes. For a superiorsmooth finish the final coat may be applied using a plasticscouring pad, rubbing in the direction of the grain, wipingaway the surplus with a soft cloth or paper towels. New orbare wood should be oiled 3 times initially.

Re-Coating Time:Allow 4 to 8 hours between applicationsdepending on the temperature and humidity.

Maintenance: When applying to previously oiled wood, thesurface should be cleaned and any wax removed using whitespirit or Rustins Surface Cleaner. Wipe away the solutionformed with clean paper towels prior to re-oiling. If thesurface develops a slight gloss, this can be removed byrubbing with grade 00 or 000 steel wool and either wax polishor white spirit finishing off with a soft cloth.

Coverage: 1 litre will cover approximately 14 sq.m. with1 coat depending on the absorbency of the wood.

How to...DECKING OIL

Preparation:The surface mustbe clean, dry and free from wax,algae and mould. Previouscoatings should be removed sothat the Decking Oil canpenetrate and adhere to thetimber. Ensure the timber is dry, as dampness will prevent

penetration and result in poor adhesion. Where the deck isweather stained, discoloured, or of poor appearance use

Rustins Decking Cleanerto clean and revive the surface.

When decking timber is not pre-treated such as withhardwood decking, use a wax free preservative on the woodbefore the oil. It is advisable to test for compatibility on asmall area before proceeding further.This will assist in preventing the growth of mould naturallypresent in the wood.

Application: Shake well before use. Using a clean brush orroller apply liberally and evenly. Allow to dry overnight. Afurther two coats will be needed to give optimum protection.

Maintenance:From time to time, depending on exposureand use, decks will need re-oiling to maintain appearanceand level of protection.

tackling sticky gum, glue, labels, tape and

adhesives from surfaces such as glass,

plastic, metal, wood, worktops and clothes.

Simply spray liberally onto the substance

you want to remove, then allow theSticky-Off to do the work.

Is a blend of powerful solvents, which will

remove accumulated wax and dirt from

furniture without harming the original finish.It should be applied with a soft cloth, or, if

the wood is very dirty, with 000 steel wool.

Surface Cleaner

A blend of special cleaning agents to

remove dirt, algae, mildew and grease from

Just spray a small amount of cleaner onto

the furniture - then use a damp cloth,

How to...QUICK DRYFLOOR VARNISH

Preparation:The floor must beclean, free from wax, grease anddust. Remove all traces of wax polish with wire wool andwhite spirit. Use a clean rag to remove the mixture ofwhite spirit and wax. It is advisable to repeat this processeven if the floor is to be sanded as sanding forces wax

further into the wood. Special care should be taken wherethere are large cracks in the flooring as these can becomecaked with old wax polish. Large cracks or holes can befilled with Rustins Wood Filler. New or old floors that havebeen sanded can be stained with Rustins Wood Dyebefore varnish; other brands of dye may not becompatible.

Application: STIR WELL BEFORE AND DURING USE.Do not dilute. Apply very liberally with minimum brushingusing large brush or roller, finishing off in direction of thegrain with light pressure. It will be touch-dry in approximately20 minutes. A cold damp atmosphere or high humidity willslow the drying. A second coat can be applied after aminimum of 2 hours. Three liberal coats are usually sufficientbut four are recommended on cork. When applied overexisting finishes the adhesion will improve over a period of2448 hours. Floors can be walked on after 2 hours butshould not be subject to heavy wear for 24 hours. Wipe offspillages immediately during first three days. If first or secondapplication raises the grain, sand lightly before applyinganother coat.It is essential that raised grain is protected by an adequatethickness of varnish. If film thickness is not sufficient to coverraised grain water may be absorbed which will discolour the

wood. Do not use less than recommended coverage. Do notpour varnish into an unlacquered metal container; use glassor polythene. Clean brushes immediately after use withwater; clean hard brushes with Rustins Cellulose Thinners orRustins Brush Restorer.

A two-part cold cure lacquer with excellentadhesion and durability. Almost colourless and

will not craze or yellow on ageing.

Resistant to scratching, abrasion, most solvents,

weak acids and alkalis. Can be applied to wood,

cork, chipboard, MDF, laminates, slate and stone.

Re-coatable after 1-11/2 hours, floor can be used2 hours after last coat has been applied.

How to...QUICK DRYMDF SEALER

Rustins MDF clear sealer is

formulated with a water based

acrylic emulsion which has a

milky-white appearance whilst liquid but dries to a clear

sealer.

When dry it can be painted or varnished with solvent orwater based products.

Preparation: The surface must be clean and free from waxand grease.

Application : Stir before use and apply liberally and evenlywith a synthetic fibre brush, pad or sponge. If finishing with agloss paint, edges and rebated or routed areas may require asecond application of sealer. For best results, apply anundercoat after sealing and before applying final gloss paint.

Re-coating Time: The sealer will be touch dry inapproximately 30 minutes depending upon the temperatureand humidity and can be re-coated after a minimum of twohours.

Is a blend of powerful solvents, which will remove accumulated wax and dirt from furniturewithout harming the original finish. It should be applied with a soft cloth, or, if the wood is

very dirty, with 000 steel wool. Wipe off the solution of dirt formed whilst still damp, with a

clean rag or paper kitchen towels.

Surface Cleaner

If the original finish has lost its lustre or has fine surface scratches, the Finish Reviver will

restore the gloss and remove minor surface defects. Water marks and heat marks can also

be removed unless they have penetrated right through the finish to the wood. If this has

happened, the only remedy is to remove the old finish completely with Rustins Strypit Paint& Varnish Stripper and refinish.

Finish Reviver

Is a non-flammable and non-toxic wax emulsion containing pure beeswax and carnauba

Henry Flack started manufacturing French polishes and blending waxes in 1860 tosupply the cabinet makers and woodcarvers in East London.
