About the Project
• Rural Health Network Development (RHND) Grant– Supports the web-based collection,
analysis, and reporting of the Emergency Department Transfer Communications (EDTC) measures

RHND Network Self Registration
• To register for an account, complete the electronic form:

• This gives us the information we need to build your account in the data collection and reporting systems.
RHND Network Self Registration
• After submitting your self-registration, an account will be created for you.
• You will receive an e-mail with instructions and a temporary password.

• Use your temporary password to validate your new RHND account on the profile site

• Follow the on-screen instructions to change your password.

• Update your profile and contact information.
• Verify that all existing information is correct.

REDCap Account Validation
• REDCap is the tool that will be used for data collection.
• Log in to REDCap using your newly created RHND Account

• The first-time login will send a verification e-mail.
• After you verify your new REDCap Account, the appropriate data collection projects will be added to your account.
• This step is a manual process and may take up to 5 business days to complete.

• Log in to REDCap using your RHND Network account
• Click on the My Projects tab.

• Click Outpatient Encounters

• Click Add / Edit Records

• Click Add new record
• This screen also has the ability to search for previously entered records, whether they are complete or not.

• The first data entry screen contains patient demographics and encounter data.

• Change the status to Complete
• Click Save and go to Next Form

• Answer each question as appropriate, in accordance with the EDTC Specifications Manual.
• A link to the manual is available to the left of the data entry form.
