About Rural Computer Training Computer Academy

Rural Computer Training Academy (RCTA) is a non-pro�t ISO9001: 2015 Certi�ed and Govt. of Karnataka Vocational training provider for IT Education. Rural Computer Training Academy is committed towards the quality computer education to young generation living in villages. �e organization aims to provide three types of training: (a) Basic computer literacy; (b) Computer as a tool for learning in schools and home; (c) Training in hardware. Currently RCTA are running 150 computer centres at di�erent location that provide basic computer literacy. Around 4700 students are learning computers in di�erent computer centres through this Program. RCTA and another collaborating organization are also running computer education program in schools in rural areas. Currently this program is operating in Govt. and Private schools. Many students get job opportunities a�er going through the RCTA computer education program and have gotten jobs in reputed �rms, schools and computer centres. In the coming year two more centres will be started and the program will also include Web designing & Adobe Photoshop training. RCTA is also in the process of publishing a book on MS-o�ce assignments which will be provided to students for practical work during the course. RCTA Online Examination Board will conduct Online Examination for those who complete computer Courses.. Our Vision : To spread computer literacy throughout Rural Karnataka.Quality Policy : At RCTA, we practice continual improvement to achieve student satisfaction by providing quality and e�ective education.Our Mission: Right education for candidate at right place and at right cost. To impart the quality and e�ective knowledge to people and help build the nations on the latest knowledge.To impart quality computer education at an a�ordable rate to rural Indian youth in order to prepare them for either starting their own enterprises or to get well-paying jobs in good companies.

Our Goals and Objectives • To reduce unemployment in the Rural Karnataka through self-employment/ employment.• To train rural youth so that they can earn their livelihood easily in their own village. �is prevents mass migration to cities.• To promote a culture of Information Technology and introduce it as a career option to rural youth.• To build a network of grass roots-level organizations across Karnataka promote Rural Computer Literacy.
