3.1 TEAMSHEETS

AllplayersneedtoberegisteredviatheCupManageronlinesystemwhichcanbeaccessedundertheTeamLoginmenuontheCaseyCupwebsitewww.caseycupcom.au

Pleaseensureyourteamhasalsocompletedtheconsentformsectionoftheteamsheet.Iftherearechangestotheteamsheet,theyneedtobemadeatleast60minutespriortoagame.

Allteamsheetsmustbecompletedonlinebeforeyourfirstgame.Pleaseensureallplayershavewiththemproofofidentificationthatincludesaphotoanddateofbirth.

IfyouareaskedtoprovideproofofaplayersageyoumustdosowithappropriatedocumentationthatcanbeintheformofFFAIDcard,schoolID,passport,birthcertificate,learnerspermitordriverslicensewhereapplicable.


Iftheopposingteamrequestsforoneofyourplayerstoprovetheirageandyoucannotproducereasonableproof,theplayerinquestionwillnotbeallowedtoparticipateinthatgame.TherequiredproofwillbeatthediscretionofAFS.

PlayerswhoareoverageandprovidewrittenauthorisationtoAFScanbeoffereddispensationtoplayinayoungeragegroup.Alldispensationrequestsaretobeemailedtoregistrations@footballskool.com.au.Ifdispensationhasbeenprovidedbythelocalcompetitionduringthewinterseasonpleasealsosubmitthewrittenauthorisationwithyourapplication.

Forallthedivisionsthatplay11v11,eachsquadcanonlyhaveamaximumof8playersonthebenchandonlyplayerslistedontheteamsheetwillbeallowedtoplay.

Forallthedivisionsthatplay4v4,7v7or9v9,eachsquadcanonlyhaveamaximumof5playersregisteredonthebenchandonlyplayerslistedontheteamsheetwillbeallowedtoplay.

3.2 AGECATEGORIES

Theagecategoriesandrequirementsforthetournamentare:

Playerswhoprovidewrittenauthorisationfromtheirlocalfederationcanbeoffereddispensationtoplayinayoungeragegroup.Shouldthelocalfederationnotbeabletoprovidewrittenconfirmation,aletterfromtheclubpresidentcanbeconsidered.

Anyteamsthatarefoundtobeprovidingincorrectdocumentationorpurposelyplayingolderplayerstogainanunfairadvantagewillreceivea0-3lossforanygamestheolderplayersparticipatedin.Theineligibleplayerswillalsobedisqualifiedfromthetournament

Repeatedoffendingteamswillbedisqualifiedandaffecttheparticipationoftheirotherclub’steamsatfutureeventsatthediscretionofAFS

AnyagedispensationrequestsneedtobesubmittedtoAFSatleast10daysbeforethetournament.Thesewillallbetreatedonacase-by-casebasis.AFSreservestherighttousetheirdiscretiontoprovidedispensationtoolderplayerstoplayinyoungeragegroupsandapplyanyconditionsitdeemsreasonable.

Aplayercanonlyparticipateinoneteamperagegroup.

Playersareallowedtoparticipateinmorethanoneteam,aslongastheyarenotinthesameagegroupandtheymeetthenecessaryagerequirements.i.e.aU12playercanplayintheU13scompandtheU12comp.


Girlsareeligibletoplayinyoungerboys’agegroupatthediscretionofAFS.ForexampleU14girlscanplayintheU13boys’agegroups.

Forteams,ifthenextavailableagegroupintheboys’competitionisnotoffered,thegirlswillbeeligibletoplayinthenextavailableyoungeragegroup.ForexampleaboveiftheU13agegroupisnotoffered,girlsteamswillbeeligibletoplayintheU12boys’competition.Agirl'steamcanbeplacedinanagegroupwheretheboyswillbe2yearsyoungerthanthegirls;thiswillbedoneatthediscretionoftheAFSinordertoprovidethemostappropriatelevelofcompetitiontotheteamsinvolved.

3.3 ELIGIBILITY

Tobeeligibletoparticipateinthetournamentplayersmust:

• Complywiththeageeligibilityaspersection3.2• Beregisteredonanallocatedteamsheetforaparticipatingteam• EnsurethattheteamhasarrangedpaymentwithAFS• Failuretocomplywiththeeligibilitycriteriamayresultinthewholeteambeingdisqualifiedandexpelled

fromcompetition.

3.4 INCOMPLETESQUADCOMPLIMENTS

Squadswithincompletecomplimentsarestillrequiredtoparticipateintheirscheduledmatches.Theoppositionteamdoesnothavetoreducetheirnumbersaccordinglyhowevercanchoosetodoso.

Playersfromyoungeragegroupscanplayupanagegroupinordertolessenthisproblem.

Playersfromanotherteamthatparticipatesinthesameagegroupcannotbeused

3.5 INSURANCECOVER

3.5.1 PUBLICLIABILITY

AFShasa$20,000,000PublicLiabilityInsuranceandhasensuredthevenuethatstagesmatchhaveadequatePublicLiabilityInsurance.

3.5.2 PERSONALINJURY

AFSdoesnotofferplayeraccidentinsurancecovertoanyparticipant;players,parentsandcoacheschoosetoparticipateinAFS’programsattheirownriskandwillbeliableforthecoststhatarisefromsufferinginjurywhilstparticipatinginanAFSevent.

3.5.3 CONSENTFORMS

Consentformsarerequiredtobesignedbyeachplayer’sparentorguardian.Thesewillbesubmittedbytheteammanagerviaemailtoregistrations@footballskool.com.aupriortotheevent.


4 TOURNAMENTRULES

4.1 PLAYERUNIFORMS

Eachplayerisrequiredtohaveanumberontheirplayingshirtthatmatchesupwiththeteamsheet.

Shoulduniformcoloursclash,itistheresponsibilityoftheawayteamtowearanalternatecolour

Allfirstnamedteamsinthefixturewillbedeemedthe"Home"teamandthereforewillplayintheircolours.

Itistheresponsibilityoftheawayteamtochangeintotheirstrip,ifthereisstillaclash,bibswillneedtobeusedbytheawayteam.Teamscanusetheirownbibsorseethegroundmarshalinyourareatoobtaintournamentbibs.

Goalkeepersshallwearanycolourprovideditdoesnotclashwitheitherteam’soutfieldplayers.

4.2 MATCHBALLS

AFSwillprovideoneDeployMatchBalltoeachteamtouseforthetournamentandtokeepasasouvenir.Theballmustbeapprovedbytherefereeatthecommencementofthematchoratthere-startofeveryplayiftheballischangedatanytimeduringthegame.

• Size3ballswillbeusedforU7,U8andU9scompetition• Size4ballswillbeusedforU10,U11s,U12sBoysaswellasU13sandU14Girlscompetition.• Size5ballswillbeusedforallotheragegroups

EachteammustbringtheirprovidedDeployMatchBalltoeverygametheyparticipatein.OnlyDeployMatchBallswillbeusedforofficialtournamentgames.AdditionalmatchballscanbepurchasedfromtheDeployMarquee.

Itistheteam’sresponsibilitytoensuretheballisprovidedtotherefereebeforetheirmatchesandcollectedfromtherefereeattheendoftheirmatches.IfateamlosestheirmatchballtheywillberequiredtopurchaseanotherfromtheDeployFootballkiosklocatedatthetournament.

Matchballscannotbechangedduringthatmatchwithoutthepermissionofthereferee.

4.3 REFEREES

RefereeswillbeprovidedandappointedbyFootballVictoria.

Allthedecisionsofthematchrefereearefinalandbindingasfarastheresultofamatchisconcerned,andnoprotestcanbelodged.

Undernocircumstancesaresupportersallowedtoapproach,questionorcriticiserefereesduringthetournament.

Anymisconducttowardsrefereeswillnotbetoleratedandmayresultinteamslosingpointsorbeingdisqualifiedfromthetournamentandmayaffectfutureparticipationofteamsfromthesameclub.AmyseriousincidentswillalsobereportedtoFFVforextraactiontobetaken.


4.4 ASSISTANTREFEREES

Eachteamwillneedtoprovideanassistantrefereeforeachoftheirgamestoassisttherefereewithrunningtheline.Thisappliesto11v11gamesonly.

Therefereehastherighttoapproveordeclineanyonetocarryoutthesedutiesathis/herdiscretion.

FootballVictoriarefereesmaybeappointedasAssistantRefereesinGrandFinalmatchesifavailable

4.5 AFSOFFICIALS

TherewillbeAFSOfficialswearingAFSbrandedapparellocatedonallfieldstoenableeasyidentificationincaseinformationneedstoberelayedorclarificationneedstobeprovidedtocoaches,parentsorreferees.

Anyhigher-levelissuescanbedirectedtowardstheInformationDesk,locatedinthemainpavilion.

Weaskallplayers,coaches,supportersandparentstorespectandworkwithAFSofficialstoensureabetterexperienceforallinvolvedinthetournament.Players,officialsandsupportersfoundtobedisplayingaggressiveorabusivebehaviortowardsAFSOfficialsmaybesubjecttodisciplinaryaction.

4.6 TECHNICALAREAS

Allfieldswillhaveclearlydesignatedtechnicalareas.Theseareaswillbeclearlyidentifiablebypermanentortemporaryfencingand/orropesaswellassigns.

Eachteamwillbeprovided3IDlanyardsforacoach,assistantcoachandteammanagertoentertheTechnicalAreasfortheirrespectivegame.AFSofficialswillonlygrantaccessintotheTechnicalAreastothosewhoareclearlydisplayinganofficiallanyard.

TeamOfficials(coachesandmanagers),withofficialeventlanyards,areallowedwithinthetechnicalareashowevercannotenterthefieldofplayunlessapprovalisgivenbythereferee(suchastoattendaninjuredplayer).Spectatorsarenotpermittedtoenterthetechnicalareaatanytimeandwillhavefullviewofthegamesfrombehindtheropesorfences.SpectatorswillberequiredtostandclearofclearlymarkedouttechnicalareasandmustcomplywithanyrequestsbytherefereeorAFSstaffinregardstothis.IfunsureofwherethetechnicalareaislocatedbelowapproachtheclosestAFSstaffmember.

Whenpermittedplayersorofficialsenterthetechnicalareas,theymayonlydosoviatheclearlydesignatedgates.

Theserulesaretoensurethegameisabletoproceedwithoutobstructionandinasafeenvironmentforplayers,teamofficialsandreferee.PleaseaskyoursupporterstorespecttheTechnicalAreasandallofficials.

4.7 SCORESIGNOFF

ImmediatelyattheconclusionforeachgametheAFSofficialwillobtaintheofficialscorefromthereferee.

TheAFSofficialwillrequirethecoachorteammanagerfromeachteamtosignoffthegamecardbeforethescoreofthegameissubmitted.

Coachesareremindednottoleavethefieldwithoutsigningoffthegamecardtomakethescoreofficial.


5 GAMESFORMAT

5.1 FORFEIT

Ifateamisnotontheirallocatedpitchreadytostart,fiveminutesaftertheirscheduledkickofftime,theywillforfeitthegame,anda3-0losswillbelistedastheofficialresultforthatparticulargame.

5.2 INJURYTIME

Generally,injurytimewillnotapplyhowevertherefereeandAFSreservesolerightstoaddoninjurystoppagetimeattheirdiscretion.

5.3 INTERCHANGEOFPLAYERS

Interchangesmayonlytakeplaceduringastoppageinplayandwiththereferee’spermission.

Eachteamcanmakeanunlimitedamountofinterchangesinanygivenfixtureprovidedtheyonlyhaveamaximumof8playersonthebenchforthe11v11gamesand5playersonthebenchforthe4V4,7v7and9v9games.

5.4 ROUNDGAMES

Teamswillbeplacedingroupswheretheywillplayaroundrobinformatandaccumulatepointsasstatedinsection2.

5.5 PLAY-OFFSFORMAT

Pleaserefertothefixturesforfurtherinformationontheprogressionfromthegroupphasetotheknock-outstages.Tobeconfirmedonceallgroupsarefinalized2weeksbeforethetournamentbegins.AllteamswillplayatleastonematchontheSunday.

5.5.1 COPAANDLIGA

SomeoftheagegroupshavebeenclassifiedintoCopaandLigacompetitions.Thesehavebeensetupinordertoplaceteamsintheirappropriatelevelandmakethegamesmorecompetitiveacrosstheboard.

NormallytheCopaisforNPL,KangarooandAlevelteamsandtheLigaisforWallabies,JoeysandBlevelteams.Wehavetriedourbesttoplaceteamsinthecorrectcompetitions,butitisnotalwayspossibletogetthis100%correctduetounevennumberofteamsineachofthelevels.


5.5.2 CUPANDPLATE

Aftertheroundrobingames,forsomeoftheagegroupstheteamsaresplitintotheCupandthePlate,whichare2differentcompetitionsandwillentertheknock-outphaseofthetournament.

ThewinningteamoftheCupwillreceiveatrophyandtheplayerswillreceivemedals,therunnersupwillreceivemedals.

ThewinningteamofthePlatewillreceiveatrophyandtheplayerswillreceivemedals,therunnersupwillreceivemedals.

Dependingonthenumberofteams,additionalfinalsdivisionsmaybecreated.

6 EXTREMEWEATHERCONDITIONS

Inextremeweatherconditions,theAFSortheappointedmatchofficialreservestherighttoshorten,postpone,delayorabandonanyfixturethatinhis/heropinioncompromisesplayersafety.

Inextremeheatconditions,theAFSortheappointedmatchofficialreservestherighttoincludedrinkbreaksatanytimeduringafixture.Matchesmaybe,shortened,postponedorcancelledasalastresort.

7 OTHERIMPORTANTINFORMATION

7.1 REDANDYELLOWCARDOFFENCES

Redandyellowcardscanbeissuedduringamatchatthediscretionoftherefereetoplayersandteamofficials.

Redcardservesanautomatic1-matchsuspensionofthesubsequentgame.Ifamatchofficialisassaultedorextremeviolentorabusivebehaviourisdemonstratedtheplayer/officialorcoachmaybesuspendedfromthetournament.

Ifthewholeteamdemonstratesrepeatedabusivebehaviour,theywillbeexpelledfromthecompetitionandmaybebannedfromfutureAFStournamentsatthediscretionofAFSManagement.

Yellowcardsindifferentgameswillnotbeaccumulatedforsuspensionthroughoutthetournament.HoweverrepeatoffendersmaybesuspendedatthediscretionofAFSManagement.

7.2 CROWDBEHAVIOUR

AFStakescrowdbehaviourseriouslythereforeinappropriatebehaviourfromspectatorswillnotbetolerated.EachteamwillberequiredtosupplyaTeamMarshallwhowillberesponsibletoliaisewiththeirrespectiveteamsupportersinordertoensuretheopposition,referees,tournamentstaffandotherspectatorsarerespected.TeamMarshallsmuststayoutsidethetechnicalareasandlocatedneartheirteamsupporters.

TeamsandClubswillbeheldresponsiblefortheirsupporter’sbehaviour.Matchesmaybeforfeitedattherefereeand/orAFSofficials’discretion.Teamsmayalsobedeductedpointsordisqualifiedfromthetournament.Wheremultipleteamsfromaparticularclubarefoundtobedisplayingpoorbehaviour,AFSManagementreservestherighttosuspendwholeclubsfromfutureAFStournaments.

UnderNOcircumstancesaresupportersallowedtoapproach,questionorcriticiserefereesduringthetournament.


7.3 BLOODRULE

Intheeventaplayerfromeitherteamsuffersaninjuryorwoundwhichresultsinthelossofblood,theappointedmatchofficialwillrequestthattheinjuredplayerreceiveattentionoutsidethefieldofplay.

Onlywhentheappointedmatchofficialissatisfiedthattheinjuryorwoundhasbeensafelycoveredandcontained,willtheplayerbepermittedtorejointhegame.

Intheeventtheplayer’suniformorattireissplatteredwithblood,therefereewillinstructthatplayertochangetheirattirebeforebeingpermittedtorejointhegame.

Shouldtheinjuredplayerberequiredtochangetheiruniform,thentheappointedmatchofficialwillshowdiscretioninallowingtheplayertowearanalternativenumberedshirtifanothershirtofthesamenumberisunavailable.

7.4 JEWELLERY

InaccordancewithFIFA‘LawsoftheGame’,aplayerisforbiddentowearjewelleryofanykind.PlayerswearingjewellerywillberequiredtoleavethepitchuntilsuchtimeastheoffendingjewelleryisremovedandtheplayerhasgainedtheMatchOfficial’spermissiontoreentertheplayingarea.

7.5 FIRSTAID

FirstAidstaffwillbeonhandforthedurationofthetournament.TapingandstrappingwillnotbepartofthedutiesoftheFirstAidStaff.IfyourteamrequiresassistancefromfirstaidstaffpleaseapproachthenearestAFSOfficial.

AmbulancesmaybecalledbyFirstAidstaffincaseofemergency.Itistheresponsibilityoftheplayerorofficialtoensuretheyhaveadequateambulancecover.

7.6 ALCOHOLANDSMOKING

TheconsumptionofALCOHOLisnotpermittedinthevenue.Anyonefoundconsumingalcoholwillbeinstructedtomovefromthevenue.

Smokingwillnotpermittedaroundthepitchesandshouldbekepttoareadesignatedforthispurpose.Inthecasewherethereisnodesignatedarea;smokingistobe20metresawayfromanypitchwhenagameisinplayandawayfromothertournamentattendees.


8 CODESOFCONDUCT

ThebelowCodesofConductshallapplytoallplayers,teamofficialsandsupportersatthetournament.Byenteringorattendingthistournament,youagreetoabidebytherelevantCodeofConductbelow.

AnybreachoftherelevantCodeofConductshallbesubjecttodisciplinaryactionbyAustralianFootballSkool.Thismayincludetheoffendingindividuals,teamsand/orclubsbeingsuspendedand/orexpelledfromthepremisesandnotbeallowedintofutureAFSeventsorprograms.

8.1 PLAYERS’CODEOFCONDUCT

“Forthegoodofthegame”
