RULES FOR REGISTRATIONS 1. An institute can maximum send two official teams in each category 2. An institute can participate in as many events as possible/ feasible for it, however for Winning the Overall Contest/ Trophy; it will have to participate in a minimum of 8 categories out of 14 3. All the participants will have to abide by the rules of their respective categories they are participating in; and the discipline of the educational institute 4. There will be no registration fee for institute or participants and accommodation will also be provided for the youth of far areas (out of station) 5. Each category’s participation will carry out specific marks as like the winners and first & second runners up which will add to the total points of the institute for winning the overall trophy so maximum participation will be recommended for winning the overall contest 6. A participant will be able to participate in more than one category but if the timings of the events got clashed; the implementing organization would not be able to benefit the participants through any means, so participants will be advised to participate in one category only 7. Decisions of the judges will be final and will be non objectionable 8. All submissions will become the property of the organizing body and will not be returned 9. Management Team of Mega Challenge 2015 will reserve the rights to edit the rules any time before the event as deem necessary 10. Top 3 Teams/ Individuals of each competition will be awarded with Trophies & Certificates and all the other participants will be provided with Certificates of Participation 11. Cash Prizes of PKR 5,000 will also be awarded to the winner of each category 12. A Grand Prize of PKR 30,000 will be awarded to the overall Winning Team of the Contest

1. Participants will have to fill a separate registration form for each category2. Participants will mail the hard copy of each categorys registration form; duly signed & stamped by the concerned Teacher Incharge along with the passport size pictures of all the participants of the respective category for their cards printing purpose and for undertaking purpose of being bound of rules & regulations of the event. (Mail us the hard copy of each categorys registration form to: TF 368, Deans Trade Center, Peshawar Cantonment, Peshawar, Pakistan)3. Online registration option will be available for registration confirmation of the respective participating institutions on www.megachallenge.com.pk, however sending hard copy will be necessary for the record purpose4. Un-enrolled youth in educational institutions or uneducated youth (with an age limit of 25 Years maximum) will have the facility to register themselves simply on telephone call on numbers that will be provided in advertisementsQirat CompetitionNo. of Participant/s:1Rules: Each participant will present Verses from the Holy Quran of his/ her choice in first round Duration of presentation is 4-8min

Calligraphy ContestNo. of Participant/s:1Theme:Open (preferably Islamic Calligraphy)Rules: 6 hours time is allowed per person Participants will bring their choice of materials by themselves The submitted material/s will become the property of implementing body

Naat CompetitionNo. of Participant/s:1Rules: Each participant will present a Naat of his/ her choice in first round Maximum duration of a presentation is 6min Urdu language will be the official medium A participant can present Naat of any Naat khwan

Urdu Singing CompetitionNo. of Participant/s:1 to 2 (One Singer & One Musician). A Participant can also participate without a musicianRules: Each participant will sing one song of his/ her choice in first round Maximum duration of a performance is 5min There is no restriction for song to be sung by any Singer and it can be of any nature (ghazal, pop etc) One musician is allowed with a singer Judgment will be based on Singing quality and not accompanying musician Karaoke tracks/ programmed music is allowed. If you are using karaoke tracks, please bring an edited version without interludes Musicians & Musical Instruments will not be provided by the organizing body

Quiz CompetitionNo. of Participants:2Areas:1. Every Day Sciences2. History of Sub Continent3. General Knowledge about Pakistan4. Islam5. SportsRules: In case of less than/ up to 20 teams, there will be two rounds In round one, four to five teams will compete in each set and top team will qualify for the next round (round two) and that round will decide the top 3 teams In case of more than 20 teams, one leading representative of the team will compete through a written test of MCQs in the above areas and final top 20 teams will then compete as discussed above

Sketching ContestNo. of Participant/s:1Theme:Culture & Heritage Promotion for PeaceRules: 3 hours time is allowedfor sketching Materials including stands, boards, pencils, rubbers and charts will be provided by organizing body Participants will have to select one picture each; to sketch, from the provided pictures of various Heritage sites of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa The submitted material/s will become the property of implementing body

Ad Making CompetitionNo. of Participant/s:1 to 3Theme:Tourism/ Culture Promotion in Khyber PakhtunkhwaRules: Duration of the Ad would be minimum 30 seconds and maximum 120 seconds (2 minutes) The Ad should be in English or in Urdu with English subtitles All submissions must be the original work of the participants Participants should have the permission to use any content before including in the Ad External footage from TV or internet will not be allowed to incorporate in the Ad For music and background score, use of a royalty free music will be appreciated Use of abusive language and objectionable content in the Ad will be strictly prohibited Ads will be judged on the basis of, Relevance to the Theme, Creativity, Execution, Appearance & Overall Impact and Technical Skills including Camera Work & Video Editing A 200 word description should be sent alongwith the video Ad shall be write on a CD/ DVD in WMV, AVI, MP4, MPEG or MOV format & will be sent to the implementing body before the deadline that is provided/ advertised The submitted material/s will become the property of implementing body

Photography ContestNo. of Participant/s:1Theme:Culture & Heritage Promotion for Peace(Preferably the Cultural/ Historical and Heritage Sites of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa)Rules: A total of 4 to 6 pictures are allowed to describe your story A 250 words description of the whole story should be send alongwith the pictures All participants must submit their original work The photos should never have been previously exhibited in any contest before Photos should not be extensively edited Judgment will be based on Content, Creativity, Use of Original Ideas, Style, Link of Photos to the Theme and Visual Aesthetics and Technical Ability Both Edited and Unedited Photos should be submitted in separate folders in JPEG format in a CD/ DVD and will be sent to the implementing body before the deadline that is provided/ advertised The submitted material/s will become the property of implementing body These sites can be considered (Gor Khutree/Gor Khatri Peshawar, Takht Bhai Khandarat, Mardan, Hund Swabi etc)

Painting CompetitionNo. of Participant/s:1Theme:Culture & Peace PromotionRules: 3 hours allowed per person Materials including boards, stands etc will be provide by the organizing body while the rest of material including colors etc will be brought by participants themselves The submitted material/s will become the property of implementing body

Drama CompetitionNo. of Participants:4 to 7 participants are allowedTheme:Youth Development & Culture Promotion for PeaceRules: 15 to 20 minute time will be allowed per team Derogatory remarks against renowned personalities & institutions will not be allowed in the script Props will not be provided by the organizing body Marks will be awarded on the basis of Story, Script/ Dialogues, Confidence, Acting/ Performance, Pronunciation and Style etc

Bilingual Declamation Contest (Serious)(English Serious & Urdu Serious)No. of Participants:2 (one for English Serious & one for Urdu Serious)Topics for English Serious:1. I have a dream . . .2.
