RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER

Father Christmas has got nine reindeer: Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and RudolphRudolph is a very special reindeer. He has got a big red shiny nose!The other reindeer laugh at Rudolph; but in Santa Claus’s opinion Rudolph is the number one reindeer and his shiny nose is a fantastic light on a foggy Christams night!

ACT 1Santa: Hello I’m Santa Claus I take presents to children on Christmas Eve: These are my reindeer:

Santa : I’m very busy , I have a lot work to do. Reindeer, please, stay here. I’ll come back with the toys for childrenReindeer: Santa Claus be quick! Children are waiting for youSanta: Ok! Don’t worry…..bye (Santa Claus goes out)

Narrator: the reindeer are waiting for Santa Claus and standing around Rudolph.

Dasher: Rudolph look at your red noseDancer: you look stupidPrancer: it’s sillyVixen: It’s not a nose It’ a lampComet. What wonderful make upCupid: have you got a cold?Donner: you look like a clownBlitzen: your nose is a tomato(the reindeer go out laughing )

Rudolph: I’m very sad! All the other reindeer laugh at my nose. I’ve got no friends I’m always alone!

ACT2Santa (looking through the fog): what a foggy night! Reindeer !!Where are you? Are you ready? what a disaster I can’t see anything!

(the reindeers enter)Dasher: Oh no! What a thick fog!Vixen and Cupid: How can we guide Santa Claus’s sleigh!?Cupid and Donner : we can’t see anythingBlitzen: and it’s time to give children their presents!Prancer : How can we do it?

(Rudolph arrives)

Narrator: A bright red light is appearing through the fog

Santa : Oh Rudolph! Here you are! Please, help me! I need your bright red nose!

Narrator: Santa Claus is loading the sleigh. Rudolph is the first reindeer.

Santa: Rudolph, your nose is a fantastic light! Now I can see the way! Off we go, Rudolph! Christmas is saved!(song: Rudolph)Reindeers: Hurray!!Dasher: Sorry Rudolph! Vixen and Cupid: your nose is fantastic!Cupid and Donner: yes! It’s really great!Blitzen and Prancer.: thanks Rudolph! You are very kind!

ACT 3Narrator: In the house the children are decorating the tree and they are waiting for Santa Claus.Child 1: let’s put these baubles on the treeChild 2 : yes, good idea!Child 3: can you pass me a red Christmas Bauble, please?Child 4 : here you are!Child 3 Thank youChild 1: please help me put on some holly, angels and snowmen!Child2 : sure!Child4And now …The star on the top! It’s great, isn’t it?Children (all together): Yes, it’ wonderful!! It’s the perfect Christams tree(children sing : oh Christmas tree)
