Dr. Joginder Mukherjee is the Master Chef In our weekly meeting on October 06, 2017 Master Chef contest was held. The Rotary ka Master Chef Award was bagged by R’ann Dr. Joginder Mukherjee for her dish called Macher Dimer Borra (Fish Pakora). Pakoras are a favorite hot snack food in India and usually made of vegetables. There are also pakoras with meats, chicken and fish. This fish Borra (pakora) was the best amongst the variety of tasty dishes prepared by the contestants. For Joginder’s best recipe, please contact on her mail: [email protected]. Later, PP Pallav Mukherjee candidly admitted, “My wife Jogi got the Master Chef Award mainly because of my help. I stayed out of not just the kitchen, but several kilometers away...!” The Judges of the Contest Chef Anup Kumar of Hotel Shivalikview, Rtn. Kulvinder Singh and Rtn. Dr. Sanjay Kalra. They deserve special appreciations for the their unbiased judgment with critical analysis and valuable suggestions The winners in other categories were: R’ann Indu Anand, R’ann Malabika Sengupta, R’ann Shashi Gupta, R’ann Sudha Puri and R’ann Rekha Mehan. President Dr. Rita Kalra congratulated the Master Chef winner and the winners in the other categories and complimented all the participants for preparing sumptuous dishes. It was an amazing experience for the participants who served their dishes to all present, making it an enjoyable fellowship.     In our weekly meeting on October 06, 2017 Master Chef

    contest was held. The Rotary ka Master Chef Award was

    bagged by R’ann Dr. Joginder Mukherjee for her dish

    called Macher Dimer Borra (Fish Pakora).

    Pakoras are a favorite hot snack food in India and

    usually made of vegetables. There are also pakoras with

  • PDG Shaju to serve in the faculty of DTTS, Kuala Lumpur Institute

    RI Director Basker Chokalingam has invited PDG Shaju Peter to serve in the faculty of District Trainers Training Seminar in the

    forthcoming Rotary Institute 2017 on December 01 to 03, 2017 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Shaju will be a facilitator at one of

    the sessions where the incoming batch of District Trainers from Zones 4, 5 and 6A will be trained.

    The Institute is an annual assembly of District Governors and RI General Officers, past, present and future who come together for

    discussions, celebration and inspiration. Convened by RID Basker at Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa, the Institute will have the

    distinguished presence of RI President Ian Riseley and Trustee Chair Paul Netzel.

    25 Participants for Swachhta cum water saving drive held on 07.10.2017 in Sector 17, Chd

    As reported by Rtn. Salil Chopra, a large

    group of 25 participants including Rtn. Salil

    Chopra, Rtn. Sumit Bhavaskar from Mumbai,

    18 Rotaractors and Interactors went around

    busy places in Sector 17-C, Chandigarh,

    interacting with the public including children

    and shopkeepers. It was a pleasant surprise

    that even street vendors were conscious and

    not much garbage could be collected. They

    have started to maintain cleanliness. People

    were so impressed that they even expressed

    their keen desire to join Rotary!

    Arts Black Belt Taekwondo expert who

    provided self defense training to

    approximately 40 female employees and

    staff at EVRY India Pvt. Ltd., Mohali, a

    subsidiary of EVRY, Norway.

    was initiated with opening remarks by

    President Dr. Rita Kalra, who shared her

    experience with Rotaractors followed by

    a brief interaction by Rtn. Sundeep

    Foundation. The Seminar, attended by

    80 female students and 10 faculty
