RSS Feeds Subscribe Instructions

Open your internet browser (internet explorer, firefox, chrome, edge etc), for this exercise Microsoft Internet

Explorer is preferred.

Once our website is open,

click on the ‘Blog’ Menu Item.

To the right of the Blogs there is a link as per below, click on it.

If it does not display there, try going to the bottom of the page and see if the RSS Feed Logo is at the bottom.

On this screen, first of all copy the link at the top of the page in the address bar ( http://www.hh.co.za/rss.xml ).

To do this, highlight the address, press cntrl+c or right click and select copy.

Minimise the screen &

Open your Microsoft Outlook.

On the Left Navigation Pane, scroll down until you find “RSS Feeds” (as per below picture).

Right Click and

select “Add a New RSS Feed…”

The following screen will come up.

In the Box (Highlighted in Red below) paste the link you copied (ctrl+v) or type in the link.

Click on Add once you have pasted or typed in the link and the “Add” Button becomes available.

When You scroll back down to RSS Feeds, there will be a white arrow next to it now, click on the arrow to open the

‘folder’.

You will now see a folder called “HH Accounting Services Blog”. Success!

Now you will receive all our Blogs in your email as email messages and you can choose by looking at the subject of

each Blog whether or not you would like to read the article.

We do suggest that you move the HH Accounting Feeds Folder to your favourites at the top of your Navigation Pane,

this way you will see everytime something new is posted (the folder will be in Bold) and you don’t have to remember

to go to the bottom of the Navigation Pane everytime.

• This step is very important if you don’t want to miss out on News about Workshops, Roadshows and

Legislation News etc.

To do this, select the HH Accounting Services Blog folder

and hold in the mouse button.

Now, simply drag the folder all the way up to your favourites (above the dotted grey line).

There will be a black line as you drag it that is an indicator where the file will be dropped if you let the mouse button

go at that point.

Once you are happy with the location of the folder within your Favourites section, simply let go of the mouse button

and the folder will be dropped there.

Should look something like below.

If you would also like to see your RSS feeds in your Internet Browser, maximise your browser again so that you have

it infront of you on your screen.

Click on “Subscribe to this feed”.

Click on “Subscribe”

To View your RSS Feeds in Microsoft Internet Explorer, go to

View, Explorer Bars, Feeds and your feeds will show in your browser.
