The Vision of Redemption School of Ministry is to raise sons and daughters empowered by the Holy Spirit to bring revival to the Nations. We will equip and impart a Kingdom mandate by allowing students to experience God’s presence in a supernatural culture.VISION

MISSION

OUR STORYRedemption School of Ministry was birthed as a breeding ground for those who will shake the planet with the glory of God. What was a dream in the hearts of pastors Kevin and Deven Wallace for years became a reality during a powerful revival that gave rise to this school of the prophets. The Times of Refreshing revival became a catalyst through which God gave clear direction for RSM and its fu-ture. God sent provision to accompany the vision and by the blessing of God, an entire university campus was purchased at the heart of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The grounds that once served the iconic Tennessee Temple University are now being renovated for what will become a hub of life-giving ministry that is saturated with the Spirit of God. The leadership team of RSM has taken time to shape an experience that is in keeping with the “school of the prophets” mandate that God gave pastors Kevin & Deven in the beginning. The rest of the amazing story is yet to be written!

MAKING HIS KINGDOM, OUR CULTURE.

Means to fully surrender your life to Christ and live a life of obedience in the power of the Holy Spirit. 1 Peter 4:10 “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others. We are all servants of the King.” Ephesians 4:1 tells us to “Live a life worthy of the calling you’ve received from God”. Jesus’ entire ministry was to serve God and deliver people. We have the same mandate. We have a culture of servant-hood in every area of ministry at RSM.

The word honor means valuable, precious, weight, such as gold. It means to esteem, appreciate and to hold in high regard. Honor is more than being nice, it’s a position in our hearts that we put others before ourselves. We have created such an environment for everyone on the RSM campus to operate in a culture that sustains life, hope and the destiny in the hearts of everyone around them. God set the example for us in that He honored His son Jesus and Jesus has honored us, giving us value even in our sinfulness. We should always follow in His example by dealing with your leaders, peers and yourself in an honorable way.

RSM is about equipping and training an army of people to bring revival to the Nations. Our students will be fiery arrows in the hand of God, shot forth to release the Glory of God. Sons and Daughters for all nations will come to RSM to be equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing well. Paul says in Colossians 3:17, “And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.” (NLT) If we’re representing God, we should do things well for His glory. The pursuit of excellence is both a goal and a mark of spiritual maturity. God expects us to work with excellence and with our full heart. At RSM you will see excellence and it will be expected from you.

Glory is one of the most common words in scripture. The Hebrew word kabod (K-B-D) originally means weight or heaviness. The same word is then used to express importance, honor, and majesty. The glory of God is the beauty that emanates from His character, from all that He is. Ultimately it’s the manifes-tation of God’s presence. This is our pursuit at RSM. We were created to glorify God and experience His glory. Moses was talking with God in Exodus when he asked to see His glory. We believe prayer is the doorway into the Glory of God – experiencing His presence. We know that as we experience Him for all that He is, we will be changed to be like Him.

We are all part of the same body but with different gifts and different callings but we are the church. It’s not something we do; it’s who we are. At RSM we teach the importance of knowing your brother or sister in Christ that is doing the work of the Kingdom. We pray for each other, partner together and join together to be force on this earth that is undivided and unified together. This is the only way to reach the Nations with the gospel and bring His kingdom to our culture.

His Kingdom Is Our Culture… The phrase is more than a catchy school slogan. It is the vibe of Redemption School of Ministry. Imagine a place where believers from any tribe and nation could join together to create a sound of heaven on earth. Envi-sion a campus buzzing with the life of God. A place where friendships are made and relationships are forged that become a network of kingdom minded people through whom the kingdom of God is advanced. Consider a place where the ministry training process comes to life by blending top-shelf, academic preparation with glorious worship encounters where your heart is invaded by The Presence of God. This is the core of the RSM experience. We believe that in order to be effective in ministry, we must not only be properly equipped but we must experience the presence of Jesus in a transformational way.

RSM is a Spirit-filled, Christ centered campus where hands-on, lab like, ministry preparation will occur in both classroom and community alike. Students will experi-ence powerful academic training in a highly relational environment all while serving

the city of Chattanooga, Tennessee and it’s surrounding communities as agents of transformation. Our desire is to release sons and daughters who invade dark areas of the earth and simply turn the light on. Turn the light on by pushing back against social injustice. Turn the light on by lighting fires of revival and spiritual renewal in our generation. Turn the light on by declaring the love of Christ to a messed up world. In short RSM is called to invest into the lives of a generation who will finish what Jesus started.

It’s our expectation that you would have a burning passion for the name of Jesus. You would be empowered by the Holy Spirit to live a radical and holy life. That you would impact your world, you’re family, your community and ultimately your world with the power of the name of Jesus. As you con-tinue your journey with RSM you will have a rich foundation of core principles and biblical knowledge. Students are grounded in the Word of God, bathed in intimacy with Jesus, stretched in faith, immersed in the Spirit, and practically equipped for life and ministry.

Many people are curious about the Old Testament but may lack an understanding of how it fits together. This course will be a simple overview of the Bible and examine spiritual insights that speak to our hearts today. We hope that this short course will whet your appetite for further study in the Old Testament.

Serving the King means to fully surrender your life to Christ and live a life of obedience in the power of the Holy Spirit. This lab will teach you how to have a heart of a servant.

It is my belief that once you know your passion, you will know your calling. For many of us, discovering passion can seem like a daunting task, but there are questions you can answer that will help with your quest.

As Christians we are called to go into the entire world and make disciples. To tell all Nations: The Kingdom of God is here! Awakening is an activation and being about the Father’s business. This class will inspire you to dream about brining revival to the Nations.

Life detox will be a time of Refreshing, Realigning and Discovery. This Lab will focus on discover-ing person strengths and gifts while taking time to look at personal lifestyle and “detox” from old habits.

FOUNDATION SEMINAR DESCRIPTIONS

RELEASING SONS & DAUGHTERSThis class will the first of many that will focus on equipping and training an army of people to bring revival to the Nations. Our students will be fiery arrows in the hand of God, shot forth to release the Glory of God.

NEW TESTAMENTThe New Testament is a record of historical events, the “good news’” events of the saving life of the Lord Jesus Christ—His life, death, resurrection, ascension, and the continuation of His work in the world.

LEADERSHIP SEMINARSWe believe that every person is born with the potential to influ-ence others. Jesus spent the greatest amount of His time train-ing a group of leaders to impact the world.

PREPARING FOR EXCELLENCEThis lab is about the pursuit of excellence. It is both a goal and a mark of spiritual maturity. God expects us to work with excel-lence and with our full heart.

PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRITThe Holy Spirit is frequently misunderstood, leaving many clueless about who He is and how He expresses Himself to us. The Bible makes it clear that the Spirit is not something. He is someone—a Person who has promised to never leave your side.

FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT“Fruit of the Spirit” is a biblical term that sums up the nine visible attributes of a true Christian life. The fruit of the Spirit is a physical manifestation of a Christian’s transformed life. In order to mature as believers, we should study and understand the attributes of the ninefold fruit.
