1.0 INTRODUCTION
In July of 2004 Platinum Group Metals Ltd. Sudbury geologist Dr. Walter Peredery to examine outcrops in three claim blocks in Norman Twp held by Platinum Group Metal Ltd. The claims are located in Norman Township in the Sudbury Mining Division about 30 kilometers north of the City of Sudbury. The claims are located with a few kilometers of the northern contact of the Sudbury Intrusive Complex (SIC).
The results of those traverses and sampling program is described in Dr. Peredery's report.
2.0 LOCATION and ACCESS
To get to the Brady claims, one proceeds north from Sudbury along highway 80 to Capreol for about 23 kilometers. Proceeding north along highway 84 which goes through Capreol, proceed along logging roads through Norman Township. Logging Roads traverse the claims and provide easy access. The CNR railway and the Vermillion River are located less then a kilometer to the west of the claims.
3.0 PROPERTY DESCRIPTION and TENURE
The property in question comprises of 2 mining claims consisting of 3 units. The claims are situated in Norman Township in the Sudbury Mining Division, and 7 of the 8 claims have been registered to Platinum Group Metals Ltd... The claim numbers are as follows: 1163585, 1199236-119240 inclusive and 1249671 and were all staked in 2001. Claim number 1244457 is still registered to Brady but is included as part of the agreement between Brady and PTG.
Details of the claims are summarized as follows:

4.0 PHYSIOGRAPHY and CLIMATE
The topography in Norman Township is typical of the Canadian Shield; the relief is subdued- but rugged. The main regional drainage flows from north to Vegetation in this area of northeastern Ontario is typical mixed forest consisting of birch, poplar and pine in the elevated areas of the township. This part of Northeastern Ontario experiences hot to dry summers with temperatures ranging from 32 degrees C in the summer and temperatures as low as - 40 degrees C in the winter. Annual precipitation is up to 880 millimeters.
5.0 Regional Geology
The project area and surrounding terrain is underlain by Precambrian rocks consisting of metavolcanics intruded by granitic rocks and mafic dykes. Huronian metasediments rest unconformably on top of these basement rocks while Nipissing (quartz) gabbro sills and dykes and olivine diabase dykes intrude the basement and Huronian rocks.
The nickel-copper ore deposits of Falconbridge Limited in Sudbury are associated with a large body of igneous rock known as the Sudbury Igneous Complex (SIC). The SIC is located at the junction of the Superior, Southern and Grenville provinces. Archean gneisses and granites of the Superior province outcrop to the north and east of the complex. Early Proterozoic rocks of the Huronian Supergroup occur mainly to the south. The SIC has an elliptical shape with the major axis striking northeast for a distance of 60 kilometres and the minor axis approximately 27 kilometres long. The main rock units of the SIC range from an outer ring of norite through a transition zone of gabbro to an inner zone of granophyre. The rock contacts have an average inward dip of about 45 0 along the north part of the SIC and are generally steeply dipping to overturned in the south and east.
The mineralization in the deposits consists of zones of massive, inclusion-bearing massive, stringer and disseminated sulphides associated with brecciated host rocks located in footwall troughs or embayments around the outer, lower edge of the SIC. The major ore zones in the South Range deposits (Lindsley, Lockerby) are hosted in Sublayer, the discontinuous lowermost unit of the SIC. The Sublayer is an igneous breccia containing various amounts of sulphides and a wide variety of xenoliths. Most of the ore zones in the North Range deposits (Craig, Fraser, Onaping) are found in the heterogeneous Footwall Breccia unit. The matrix of the Footwall Breccia can contain various amounts of sulphide disseminations, stringers and fragments, or can be completely replaced by sulphides. The Fraser Copper deposit consists of a series of copper-nickel sulphide veins cutting the footwall gneisses approximately 300 metres to 800 metres below the SIC contact. These veins also have a significant precious metal content.
The minerals pyrrhotite, pentlandite, chalcopyrite and pyrite are the major sulphides in the Sudbury ores. Magnetite is a common metallic mineral. Pentlandite is the main nickel-bearing sulphide with a nickel content of 33 to 35 weight percent. It also contains an average of l weight percent cobalt. The nickel content of pyrrhotite varies from 0.4 to 1.2 weight percent. The footwall veins at the Fraser Copper deposit are predominantly composed of chalcopyrite, cubanite and pentlandite, with lesser amounts of pyrrhotite millerite, bornite and magnetite.

PTM Claim Blocks in Norman Township, Sudbury Area
By Walter V. Peredery
Introduction. At the request of Dennis Gore, I spent two days (July 2 &6, 2004) taking a
cursory examination of outcrops in three claim blocks in Norman Twp held by Platinum Group Metal Ltd.. Most of the outcrops examined were in the vicinity of old bush roads which transect the claim blocks. Some outcrops examined were just outside of the claim blocks, but they are quite revealing in terms of the sulphide mineralization present in the area.
A GPS 72 unit was used in locating the outcrops, and the mineralized samples. Generally the accuracy of this unit is +S- 3m.
A number of claim posts were also located during the traverses. Their GPS coordinates are given below.

Station - 505677, 5180729,321m. 50m E of Main Road. Outcrop area about 50m in diameter.
Granitic gneiss with migmatized amphibolite masses up to several metres in diameter.
Discussion A Conclusions. Most of the outcrops in the three claim blocks are represented by granitic gneisses
carrying variable concentrations of inclusions of amphibolites, ranging from a few per cent to dominantly amphibolite in some outcrops.
These amphibolites were originally probably mainly basic volcanic rocks, as there is good evidence of this elsewhere in the gneisses surrounding the Sudbury Basin. Some of the amphibolites are large enough to be identified as mappable units. (See published maps of the Sudbury area, and also J. Brady Copenhagen property area). In the claim blocks such amphibolites are up to several tens of metres in diameter.
The amphibolites show various degrees of injection by granitic and pegmatitic materials, or migmatization by felsic fractions. In places, however, the amphibolites have been partially digested and incorporated into the felsic magma producing an intermediated composition basement rock.
From previous studies of the granitic gneisses it is known that some of these gneisses have undergone granulite facies metamorphism and have been retrogressed to amphibolite and greenschist facies. Their spatial position surrounding the Sudbury Basin suggests that they were brought up from depth probably by the Impact mechanism that produced the Sudbury Basin Structure. As such the amphibolites contained in these gneisses could represent relics of volcanic rocks overlying the original ancient basement rocks.
In the claim block near the Vermillion River, there is apparently a diabasic dyke rock as evidenced by its diabasic texture. Its width could not be established. Its trend is possibly to the NW. Similar dykes are known on the North Range where they appear to form two sets of orthogonal orientations - NS and E W, and NW and NE. The NW trending dykes are generally accepted to be of Matachewan age. Some of the Matachewan age dykes in the Sudbury area are known to carry sulphide mineralization. The EW dykes are the latest dykes in the Sudbury area in that they cut the Sudbury Basin rocks.
Sulphide mineralization in the PTM claim blocks is associated with the amphibolites and the diabasic dyke rock. In the amphibolites disseminated pyrite is generally present in seams or in fractures where it is associated with secondary epidote (sample #1). Heavily mineralized amphibolites (Sample #3) occur just east of the claim block near the Main Road. Blocks of similar mineralized rock are also found in the newly discovered extension of the Whistle offset, just south of IR road #11.
Disseminated sulphides also occur in the diabase in the claim block near the Vermillion River. Here, however, the sulphides appear to be mainly of pyrrhotite and possibly some chalcopyrite (sample #2).
Conclusions.
1) Lithologies in the three claim blocks include granitic gneisses, amphibolites and diabase.
2) Amphibolites occur as variably migmatized bodies in the granitic gneisses, or simply as inclusions.
3) Amphibolites carry disseminated and massive pyrite type of sulphide mineralization. The latter type is probably part of a VMS deposit.
4) Diabase dyke rock carries disseminated pyrrhotite (chalcopyrite) in the claim block near the Vermillion River.
