    SELECTION PROCEDURE :

    The Selection procedure will be decided by NBCCdepending upon the response received against eachpost. The selection criteria can be by way of interviewor by way of written test followed by interview. Decisionof NBCC will be final in this regard.

    GENERAL

    Candidates applying for more than one post should

    apply separately for each post.Candidates who have applied and / or interviewedagainst our earlier advertisements during the currentcalendar year need not apply again for the same post.

    Candidate can appear for written test/ interview inEnglish/Hindi language, as pertheir choice.

    Candidates are advised to give specific, correct, fullinformation. All original certificates/documents in supportof information furnished in the application form are tobe produced at the time of interview / written test, failingwhich the candidates will be dis-qualified for appearingin Interview/written test. Candidature will be liable for cancellation for the post applied and/ or removal fromthe services of the Corporation after joining, if at anystage it is found that information furnished by theapplicant is misleading/ incomplete/false or differs fromthe certificates.

    Persons with Disability can also apply for any of the

    above post in accordance with DOPT OM No. 36035/3/2004-Estt(Res) dated 29.12.2005.     The upper age limit indicated is for general categoryof candidates. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Persons with Disabilities (PWD)will beas per Government guidelines in this regard. AgeRelaxation for Ex-Serviceman will be servicerendered in the Armed forces plus 03 years. Upper age limit not applicable in case of departmentalregular candidates having atleast three yearsbalance service.

    In case of variation in name / surname / name spellingmentioned in the application with that in therespective certificates pertaining to education /professional qualification / caste / etc., the applicantshall be required to submit a certificate from SDMor equivalent to this effect along with the respectivedocuments at the time of interview, failing which thecandidature shall be liable to be cancelled. In caseof change of surname of female after her marriage,the candidate is required to furnish marriagecertHicate and notoriesd affidavit in this regard.

    Relaxation of standard in selection against reservedvacancies - if sufficient number of reserved categorypersons are not available on the basis of laid downgeneral standards, the general standards could berelaxed suitably to fill up the reserved posts.

    The cut-off date for all purposes i.e. age, experienceetc. shall be considered as 1 st October, 2013. Thedate of declaration of result / issuance of mark sheetshall be deemed to be the date of acquiring the

    qualification and there shall be no relaxation on thisaccount. Post qualification experience on a post/ levelshall be counted from the said date onwards.

    Candidates working in Government, Semi-Government Organization/Public Sector Undertakings and Autonomous Bodies should applythrough proper channel or furnish NO OBJECTIONCERTIFICATE at the time of written examination /interview. However, in the event of difficulty in gettingNOC from their parent department, they may submitan undertaking at the time of written examination/interview that they will not claim any service transfer benefits / protection of pay in case of their selection.However, they have to produce the proper relievingorder from their organization, in theeventof their selection, at the time of reporting for joining.

    Only SC/ST/PWD Candidates called for interview/written test will be paid to and fro rail fare (other than

    Rajdhani/Shatabdi Express) -2nd AC sleeper for E-6 & above level, 3rd AC sleeper fare for E-3 to E-5level and Sleeper Class for others i.e. below E-3 levelfrom the nearest railway station of the declared placeof residence by the shortest route beyond 30 km.subject to production of rail ticket.

    Selected candidates will be required to serve in anypart of India or abroad as per the discretion/requirement of NBCC. Candidates ready to work anywhere in India are adirised to apply only.

    Mere fulfilling the minimum requirement will not vestany right for selection test/interview. In case of overwhelming response.; NBCC reserves the rightto shortlist the candidates by fixing revised eligibilitycriteria: In case;pf non suitability of candidates for the post applied for, NBtpc at its discretion can offer a suitable post in the lower level.     QUALIFICATION:

    Graduate having B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.B.A, B.C.Afrom UGC recognized University with having 55 %or more marks in final year exam for GeneralCategory and for reserved category candidateshaving 50% or more marks in final year exam andhave cleared at first attempt without ATKT.     REMUNERATION:

    SCOPE OF CARRIER DEVELOPMENT /PROSPECTIVE:

    The selected Junior Assistant (Vidyut Sahayak)shall be appointed initially for the period of threeyears and may be considered for appointment tothe post of Junior Assistant on regular establishment, in the pay scale of Rs.9700 - 21710subject to completion of 3 year lock in periodsatisfactorily.
