    Stories

Whats happening in Nursery during week beginning 9th February 2015

    Additional Focused Activities

    General news updates & reminders.

To support our discussions about families we would welcome any

photographs of family members, either sent on paper or emailed in for

    us to print.

Please name hats and gloves visibly so your child can spot their name.

A reminder of the morning routine: children are handed over at the

coloured fence to Nursery between 8.15-8.30, where they will be

registered by a member of staff. They will then have the time and

independence to hang up their own coats and put away their own book

    bags.

If you are late arriving, (e.g after 8.30), please leave promptly after

ensuring a member of the Nursery team knows your child has arrived

so they can be accounted for. If the register has been closed, you will

be asked to register them with the office on the way out.

    can see in every day

    household objects. They

may spot a circle at the end

face of a tin of beans or

they may be able to name

the tin as a cylinder shape.

  • Communication and Language.

Talk about your weekend news and then write about it using sentence

    structure and phonic knowledge.

Write a letter to thank the theatre company for coming in and help
