With a breadth of equipment, personnel resources and specialist skills in recycling, construction and fabrication, Royal Park Salvage has the capacity for jobs of any size.

With regards to demolition, once advised of the particulars of the site and its history, as well as details of the scope of work required, Royal Park Salvage will then manage the job. That is, manage the requirements from both the Government and Local Government

authorities and also manage all of the potential on site risks such as those posed to neighbouring properties, to personal safety, and also asbestos and/or other hazardous substances.

Safe asbestos and hazardous waste removal is a critical requirement for many commercial building redevelopment and/or demolition projects.

Royal Park Salvage has a Class A asbestos and hazardous products removal licence – one of only a handful of companies in South Australia with this specialist accreditation.

Their flagship remediation project at the Findon landfill site was the first of its kind in Australia. The seven hectare site was excavated to 5 metres deep and over 500,000 tonne of buried waste was removed and recycled.

Processing this waste at Adelaide Resource Recovery, more than 90% of the waste was recycled. The $30M+ project remediated the entire site to NEPM A standards where a housing precinct is now thriving on the old rubbish dump footprint.

Royal Park Salvage is able to assist clients in the remediation of contaminated land and has the resources to either remediate on site or replace contaminated soils dependent upon client requirements and the type and extent of contamination encountered.

Royal Park Salvage is one of only a handful of companies in South Australia that hold a Class A asbestos and hazardous products removal licence.

This Class A licence allows Royal Park Salvage to remove all friable (very high risk) types of asbestos.

Decades of experience and challenging removals has prepared Royal Park Salvage to manage and assume responsibility for the inherent risks associated with the removal of asbestos and other hazardous contaminates.

The use of amosite (brown asbestos) and crocidolite (blue asbestos) was banned in Australia in the mid 1980’s. Chrysotile (white asbestos), which was used mainly for the manufacture of packing and friction materials such as brake and clutch linings, has been banned since 31 December, 2003.
