    WHEREAS by the Metropolitan Water Supply, Sewer-age and Drainage Act, 1909, it is provided that, subjectto the provisions of the Act, the Minister for WaterSupply, Sewerage and Drainage shall, with the approvalof the Governor, have power to construct and extendWater Works, Sewerage Works and Storniwater DrainageWorks, and whereas the prelinimarv requiremneuts oftile said Act have been complied with, and plans, sec-tions, and estiusates in respect of the works hereinafteruieutioned have been submitted to and approved by theGovernor-in-Council, now, therefore, His Excellency theLieutenant-Governor, with the advice and consent of theExecutive Council, does hereby empower time Ministerfor Water Supply, Sewerage and Drainage to undertakethe construction of the following works under time saidAct, namely:-
