Dear Parents,

Your student’s teachers have been working hard this year to prepare your Rockville stu-

dent to do their best on ISTEP+(Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress

Plus). Teachers have developed lessons all year long to ensure students learn state stand-

ards in English, Math, Science and Social Studies. Your student’s progress on these

standards will be measured by ISTEP+. Teachers at Rockville have also made use of

Acuity testing to gain an understanding of any deficiency areas your student may have

ity assessments is to provide diagnostic measures for grade 3-8 students in Eng-

Language Arts (E/LA), Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, as well as for students

in Algebra I, English 10, and Biology. Assessment reports provide standards-aligned

performance data, which support an educator’s ability to inform instruction at the stu-

dent, class, school, and corporation level.

Rockville Jr/Sr High School would like to remind parents that the testing season is upon

us. It is imperative that all students come to school on time each day in order to not

miss any testing. Students need lots of sleep and a good breakfast. Thank you for your
