Transfers Passengers must ask operator for a transfer ticket when boarding the bus. Passengers will not receive a transfer when exiting the bus. The transfer is valid for one transfer within two hours. For more information, visit ridecart.com/howtoride.

CART transfer stations CART operates two stations on the OU campus. All CART routes, except for the West Norman Link (20) operate out of one or both of these stations:• Stop 107 - Brooks Street Station (Brooks, east of Jenkins in Duck Pond parking lot) • Stop 1 - Campus Depot (Asp, north of Lindsey) For more information on maps and schedules, fares, passes, bike racks, etc., visit rideCART.com.

Bus fare assistanceCommunity Development Block Grant passes are available to passengers with low to moderate incomes for all CART services except the Sooner Express. Applications are available under “Fares and passes” online at rideCART.com. This program is funded by the City of Norman.

Passes may be purchased in person, by phone (405-325-3311) or by mail at OU Parking Office, Jenkins Avenue Parking Facility, 1332 Jenkins Ave., Norman, OK 73019-2451.

Please pay with exact change on all buses.

• No smoking; eating or chewing tobacco permitted. Cups with lids allowed.• Exact fare is required; no change given.• Enter the front door and exit the back door.• Keep hands and arms inside the vehicle.• Seniors and individuals with disabilities have priority seating in front section of the bus.• If seating is not available, passengers may move to the back of the bus and hold on to the overhead rail.• All passengers must stand BEHIND the white or yellow line at either door of the bus. No standing or sitting on the bus steps is allowed.• When exiting, passengers should not cross in front of bus; they should wait until it pulls away.• When boarding or leaving the bus, use extreme caution. Steps are steep and may be slick when wet.• Passengers should be aware of emergency exits on the vehicle.• Please stay seated or hold onto the handrail until the vehicle comes to a complete stop.• Minimum age to ride the bus alone is 11 years old.• Shoes and shirts must be worn. • Handing out materials of any kind prohibited.• Strollers must be folded and carried onto the bus and secured while riding.• Animals must be in carriers and the carrier secured. Service animals must be on a leash. All animals must remain under control at all times.• CART buses are equipped with wheelchair ramps or lifts. Users must back onto the lift to board. Users may pull forward on a ramp.• Do not chase the bus. Once the bus is moving away from the passenger loading area the driver is not allowed to stop the bus. • Large objects that cannot be stowed in your lap or in an available seat next to you without obstructing the aisle are not permitted.• Abusive or profane language will not be allowed by anyone.• Passengers should limit their parcels to a reasonable number of items (generally considered to be three bags). Passengers must secure all packages on their lap, in the seat beside them (when available) or on the floor between their feet.• Phone (405) 325-2278 to retrieve lost items.

This route serves OU students, faculty and staff parking on the north side of the Lloyd Noble Center (LNC) and riding to main campus. These CART passengers park permit-free. No fare is charged on this route. This route runs from the LNC to the Campus Depot on Asp Avenue on the west side of Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. This route stops only at the LNC and Campus Depot. This route runs Monday through Friday when OU classes are in session. At peak times, four or more buses are in use.
