Magazines have litered my bedroom floor my entire life, even before I was able to read when I would flip through the fashion editorials and tear out the pictures I liked. History and fashion interest me, specifically how they work together to show the ways in which the world has changed over time. Vogue has captured this better than any other fashion magazine over the de-cades. My life has been heavily influenced by the editors of Vogue, my favorite being Diana Vreeland. She was a successful, independent, driven woman. She had an eye for good taste and a strong sense of curiosity, like me, which led to her success in the fashion industry. I live by her code, “One must arrange to be born in Paris, after that, everything follows quite naturally.”

Why is it the best? When it comes to fashion, Vogue is the world’s most influential magazine. Its audience is about the same size as the population of Cuba, and 3 films have been influenced by it (The September Issue,The Devil Wears Prada, and Funny Face). Ask any young girl in fash-ion where they want to work and they’ll say Vogue.

To understand why Vogue is so suc-cessful we must look at the minds be-hind the magazine- the editors. Each editor has contributed something ex-troadinary during their time at Vogue to maintain its reputation.(insert history of editors and their con-tributions)
