VILLA 635 IN ROTORUA, NEW ZEALAND

Surrounded by the sparkling waters of Lake Rotorua, Villa 637 offers guests the opportunity to

experience the rich New Zealand culture and geothermal springs of Rotorua or simply relax and enjoy

the tranquillity of its beautiful lodge accommodaton, the stunning location and panoramic views.

Once a Maori Pa site, this Rotorua lakeside accommodation is steeped in local history - of ancient

battles, love and life - and looks out towards the historic Mokoia Island. The luxury lodge retreat is a

converted 1930s mansion filled with beautiful antiques and a choice of 9 spacious, exquisitely

furnished bedrooms, most with views of the lake.

Villa 635 offers gourmet New Zealand food and wine, as well as a range of onsite activities from

pampering massage, fly fishing from the private beach, water sports, tennis, gym and boating.

Only 10 minutes from the heart of Rotorua City, villa 635 ideally placed to offer the best of Rotorua

from a peaceful and luxurious base.

The two-storied lodge mansion retains the charm and design of the 1930s including large entertaining

rooms with open fireplaces, a timber-panelled dining room and magnificent timber staircase. Formerly

a family home, many of the antiques remain providing distinctive links to the mansion's history.

The extensive prime lakeside estate has never been divided. The 2.8 hectare grounds run down to the

lake edge and private beach. The remnants of the Maori fortified pa on the headland are surrounded by

small areas of native bush land. The fields, where once the children's horses and ponies were kept, are

now grazed by a small flock of sheep.

Villa 635 offers several reception rooms for guests to enjoy including a quiet reading room / library

with computer, pool room, large entertaining rooms and several dining rooms.

Suites





Individually decorated, each spacious suite has its own unique charm, most with views over the lake. All

have separate lounge areas, bedrooms and large ensuite bathrooms with shower and spa bath.

Self-contained private suites a short walk from the lodge itself, each with its own lounge room, separate

The owners' residence, the Lake Villa sits above the lodge where it enjoys the very best of lake and city

views. It can be booked out by families or groups and offers 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen,

open dining and living areas and extensive balcony areas.
