Dear Parents, Our first achievements assembly was on Friday and awards this year will be for:
Lunchtime behaviour, Stars of the week, ‘Persevering’, Star Class readers, and by request a
weekly ‘Headteacher Award’. Mrs Henry-Moore will let parents know when class 1 will start
attending assembly on Fridays .
We have 2 charity events on Friday 27th September - The Macmillan Coffee morning in church in
the morning and a ’colour run’ event for Sarcoma Uk in the afternoon. We hope you can support.

children will be taken over during the morning.

Harvest Festival in Church
Monday 7th October 2019 at 9.15am
All classes will be singing Harvest songs. Everyone is
welcome.
Harvest means to ‘bring in’ and ‘gather together’. Harvest is a
celebration of the food gathered in for us to enjoy.
Please bring in tinned or packet food on Friday 4th October.
These will be displayed in Church during the Village Harvest Service on Sunday
6th.
All donations will then be distributed to The Hope Centre in Northampton.

SARCOMA COLOUR RUN CHARITY EVENT
Rothersthorpe CE Primary School - school field
Friday 27th September at 2.45pm
This charity event has been organised in support of our former Rothersthorpe pupil,
Daisy. All donations raised will be given to further support the Sarcoma UK
Charity. A letter with all the details has been sent home in book bags. Everyone is
welcome to take part.
