YOUTH DIRECTOR POSITION
Want to serve in ministry and make a difference in the lives of
young people? First United Methodist Church Pulaski is hiring
a part-time youth director. This opportunity includes leading and
teaching in our weekly youth meetings, event planning, and coordinating volunteers. You’ll serve on a great team at FUMC
Pulaski as you build relationships and help our youth grow in their faith. Interested? We would love
to hear from you; send your résumé to the senior pastor at [email protected]
Cross & Flame First United Methodist Church
Pulaski, Virginia
Monthly Newsletter - August 2018
How did you get here? What do you love the most about this church? If you had a magic wand, what would you do at FUMC Pulaski?
These questions pull us into our church's past, present, and future; and we would love to hear your answers. During the month of August, we're hosting a number of Congregational Listening Groups. These are not only opportunities for us to get to know each other a little better, but also a chance for us to share in the visioning process for our church. Each group should last no more than 90 minutes, with each of us getting a chance to answer those three questions. We're hosting one at the parsonage and three others in homes around the community - I'll be present at each group to facilitate the conversation and share a little of my own story. We would love to see you at one of these four groups:
Tuesday, August 21 - 6:00PM at the church parsonage
Thursday, August 23 - 6:00PM hosted by Don & Deena Stowers Sunday, August 26 - 3:00PM hosted by Hank & Janet Hanks Tuesday, August 28 - 6:00PM hosted by Alan & Jean Rudisill
If you're reading this online, you can click here to RSVP! Call the church office if you are unable to RSVP online. Grace & Peace, Will
Dear FUMC Pulaski,
We want to write to send our deepest thanks for all of
your amazing support through the wonderful Mission
Team that came, through the work they gave and the
funding they brought, through your giving through the
Advance, and for the wonderful gift of $1600.00 that
arrived just a few days ago as a gift toward the walk-in
freezer/refrigerator. It was such a blessing in making the
project possible.
You have shared blessing upon blessing with the
Willow Church, the community and food pantry; and we
are forever grateful. Words cannot express the depths of
our gratitude to all of you!
