Historically, October in Tyler was a time to celebrate the harvest of the rose. From these bountiful harvests and times of celebration was borne the Texas Rose Festival in 1933. Though more well known today for processing rather than harvesting, Tyler continues to honor the rose just the same.

Join us as we celebrate Rose Season 2014. We invite you to be our guest at dozens of community events–ranging from outdoor family fun to historic home tours, fi ne and performing arts to educational workshops. And of course, the colorful, elegant pageantry of the Texas Rose Festival!

Please enjoy your visit to Tyler–a natural beauty.
