Bio
Genre: Hard Rock
Influences: Black Stone Cherry, Alice in Chains, Black Label Society,
Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, Nirvana, Lynyrd Skynyrd
Label: Self Produced
Formed in 2015, Rosco’s Riot have arisen to become one of the loudest,
tightest and most entertaining bands to emerge from their local rock scene in
their home city of Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The band seamlessly fuses together heavy rock with elements of grunge, metal
and blues to create a full on, complete hard rock experience.
Having performed regular gigs in most of the premier venues in Belfast the
band was voted to represent Northern Ireland at Hard Rock Hell’s “Highway to
Hell VII” which saw them compete against 19 of the biggest up and coming
rock bands in the UK. Located in the O2 Academy, Sheffield, this increased
their drive to succeed and prosper in the industry and only served to focus the
band on delivering outstanding live shows as well as highly critically acclaimed
studio releases.
The band continues to deliver their hard-hitting heavy rock experience to many
prestigious venues in Belfast but their ambition is to bring their sound to new
audiences and gain traction in the wider rock scene.
This is a band that will raise the roof at any venue.

“For sure Rosco's

“In my opinion Rosco’s Riot
have achieved what most
bands strive for – a sound
that is unique to them, their
heavy driven brand of rock
easily distinguishable within
a few seconds – yet this
release, like the last is
punctuated by that one
track which will throw you complete off kilter and demonstrate the diversity,
versatility and undeniable talent of this band.” © MyGlobalMind Online

Live Reviews
Rosco’s Riot “Crazy & Wild” Album Launch – December 2016
-“The powerful vocals emanating from Tim Knox, and the screaming guitars of
Knox and Andy Brown alongside the dirty bass groove of James Quinn are a
force to be reckoned with. Heavy duty drummer Craig Taylor, who cites the
legendary John Bonham as an influence, pounded his way through the set with
unrelenting force.”

Belfast, Limelight 2 – June 2017
“Technically, they’re tighter than Theresa May’s buttocks on election day.
Laying down big ass riffs, with plenty of dirt under their strings, it’s like
Motörhead jamming with Black Stone Cherry: thick and dense, but with a raw
energy and a deep suvern groove.”

Belfast, Voodoo – February 2018
“Main support Rosco’s Riot provide a total change of tone, and mood, with
their blues-infused rock, its big, thumping grooves underpinned with pounding
rhythms.”
