Timeline for Transition Strategy Meetings: When Elections Are Announced: Send outgoing chapter head timeline document When New Chapter Head is Elected: Schedule a transition session with the outgoing chapter head and incoming chapter head After Official Transition: Schedule a one-on-one call with new chapter head to open up a planning space separate from past leadership *Some chapters may ask to include VPs or other leadership in these calls. You can decide how to handle that! Transition Strategy Meeting Agenda: 20 Minutes: The outgoing chapter head should walk the group through the semester’s OKRs, giving the chapter a score on each Key Result (0-1). This should give the incoming chapter head an idea of what the goals were, what got accomplished, and what there is still left to do. 10 Minutes: Jointly, the outgoing and incoming chapter head should list out pluses of the semester (what went well) and deltas (what could have gone better). This can include things like chapter structure, member retention, participation in programs like 10 Ideas, etc. 30 Minutes: Jointly build out OKRs for the next semester and/or year. 10 Minutes: Go through the transition checklist to make sure Go through the checklist Transition timeline Is chapter agreement up to date?
