f i l ly conscious of the high responsibi l i ty t o the Nation t h a t goes with t h e ownership and care of a property c a s s i f i e d a s having national significance and worthy of national h i s t o r i c landrmrk s ta tus , we agree t o preserve, so f a r a s practicable and t o the best of our ab i l i t y , the h i s to r i ca l i n t eg r i ty of t h i s important par t of the national cu l tura l heritage.

Toward t h i s end, we agree t o continue t o use the property only fo r purposes consistent with i ts h i s t o r i c a l character.

We agree t o permit an annual v i s i t t o the property by a representative of the National Park Service, a s a basis fo r continuing landmark s ta tus .
