The American dream is diff erent for everyone based on how much money they have, the way they live, and their view of materialistic things.
The negative aspects of World War I led to the disillusionment of much of the American public. This led to people not wanting to sacrifice their own happiness for others, having no emotions and being confused.

When John F. Kennedy spoke of humanity’s problems being “man-made,” he also noted that “no problem of human destiny is beyond human beings.” In order for human beings to continue to improve, they must also be aware of Einstein’s comment that “the important thing is not to stop questioning.”
