Developed and standardized the admission review process for the fairness, efficiency and

Initialized and established Chinese Proficiency Testing Center at Kennesaw State

Organized three annual tests to serve 187 participants from 7 states in southern America;

Awarded 34 HSK participants with the HSK scholarships to study in prestigious Chinese

Universities for one month, half year, one year or five years, the total scholarship amount

about 500,000 Chinese Yuan (about $52,000);

Brought in the support from Chinese government and professors from China to teach

Chinese at Kennesaw State University (Two professors who teach in the Foreign

Language Department at KSU are all supported by the Chinese Government, including

their international travel);

Developed and maintained the HSK web site to serve the communities; designed and

implemented online registration for a better service (http://www.kennesaw.edu/hsk).

Provided information and published over 30 news articles for the community in Atlanta

local Chinese newspapers;

Served as associate director of Sino-American Education Consortium:

Revised and updated the by-law of the consortium;

Initialized the Web site of the consortium (Chinese version);

Co-organized 4 international conferences;

Made connections and enhanced the linkage between universities and colleges in China

and in the United States;
