COLLEGE LOCATION/ BACKGROUND

The College is established on the Nakuru – Eldoret Highway at Salgaa Trading Centre in Nakuru County, Rongai Sub county. From Salgaa Centre to the College i5s about 800m into the Salgaa/Elburgon Road. This is a College of repute as we strive to offer only the best and guarantee a memorable and fruitful Stay at College.

The College is built on an expansive 70 ACRE piece of land and boasts of Ultra Modern learning facilities. The campus offers a peaceful and conducive learning environment away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and urban noise.

DIRECTION TO COLLEGETo get there from Kericho, Western and Nyanza alight at Salgaa Shopping Center on the Eldoret -Nakuru Highway. The college is about 800m from the Center. From Nairobi, Coast and Central Provinces, alight in Nakuru town then take a matatu to Rongai/ Salgaa at the Nakuru town main stage opposite Pinkam House or at Muthaiti shopping complex stage (formerly Eros Cinema) and alight at Salgaa Shopping Center to walk to the college

Registration of Students is done at the College Administration Office between 8:00 and 4.00pm on working

days only.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

Original and copies of your certificates and National ID card must be presented at registration. Three (3) 1" x

1" photographs must also be submitted during registration.

CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATION

(I) Your studies will be governed by the common rules and regulations for students of Rongai

Teacher College

A copy of which will be availed at registration.

(ii) You will not be registered as a student before payment of the required fee

(iii) Please note that all the forms must be fully completed

(iv) Readiness and willingness to engage in rigorous and intensive studies is required

NB/: Rongai Teachers College will supplement the textbooks by supplying various modules and

notes/revision materials necessary for the course

BOARDING REQUIREMENTS

1. Mattress, Blankets, Bedsheets and pillows

2. Plate, mug, spoon, bucket etc.

3. Personal effects-e.g towels, soaps, tissue papers e.t.c

NB: The college has separate hostels for male and female students. Students stay in cubicles with

occupancy of an average of six students per cube.

COLLEGE UNIFORM

The college shall supply uniform upon payment of Kshs 5,500/= which shall comprise of the following

- 2pairs of socks/white for ladies and grey for men

- 1 Black trouser (Men)

- 1 Black skirt (ladies)

- 1 light blue Blouse (Ladies)

- 1 light blue shirt (men)

- 1 sweater

- 1 Track suit

The college shall supply uniform upon payment

Students are expected to be in full uniform on
