�T he Ronda tabletop’s 3-ply particleboard core

receives a .050” thick high-pressure plastic laminate

coating, then a solid hardwood drop edge. Radiused 1⁄2”

at top and bottom to form a smooth semi-bullnose, the

edge meets the laminate with a 1⁄32” v-groove detail.

Work surfaces may be fitted with various electrical

options including 3” diameter grommets and steel

J-channels for wire maintenance.

�T he end, mid and back panels of study and reference

carrels are comprised of grade “A” veneered plywood

that is finished with

an eased 1⁄8” hardwood

border along the top

and bottom edges.

of keyhole fasteners.

stands and dictionary

stands features grade “A” veneered, 3⁄4” particleboard

side panels. Vertical edges receive a 1⁄4” solid

hardwood border; all edges and corners are

radiused.

Ronda shelves are 3⁄4” veneered plywood or

laminate, finished with an eased hardwood

band at the front edge (atlas and dictionary

stands receive a solid retainer lip/book support rail).

Shelves are mounted to panels via hidden keyhole

fasteners, while rack configurations attach to

tabletops using wood screws.

�A ll legs are 23⁄8” x 23⁄8” glued-up solid stock, their

vertical edges radiused 1⁄2” to complement the semi-

bullnosed edge of work surfaces. Embedded barrel

nuts allow the leg to be mounted to tabletops using

epoxy-coated steel corner plates and two threaded

machine bolts.

To create a more finished look, Ronda designs

offer an apron rail option. Solid hardwood apron rails

are fit between the legs and are set back 3⁄4” behind the

external edge of tabletops or panels.
