+ Rolling Hills Newsletter September 2017 Coming Late Fall: A New Bible Study from Best-Selling Author Beth Moore - The Quest There is No Quest without Questions The crooked punctuation mark at the end of a sentence speaks of curiosity, interest, and perhaps doubt. A question is an invitation to vulnerability, to intimacy. The Bible does not shy away from such an invite. Over and over we see the people of God asking questions of their Creator. We also see the God of the universe asking questions of His creation. The Quest is a challenge to accept the invitation. In this six-week excursion with Jesus, Beth Moore uses questions from Scripture to lead you into intimacy with the One who knows you best. Learn to dig into the Word, to respond to the questions of God, and to bring your questions before Him. Let the crooked punctuation mark be the map that points you into a closer relationship with the Father. Learn to pray to promote intimacy with God. Explore questions and responses from the Bible. Track your quest by journaling along the way. Learn to read and respond to Scripture. If you’d like to receive the regular

newsletter from the Reeds to see what’s

going on in their world, please email

[email protected] and include who

you are and that you would like to receive

the newsletter. Dennis would be glad to add

you to the list.

A place to gather women and share

a simple meal and dive deep with

people over real stories and Christ

centered conversations. A time for

a whole lot of laughter – and maybe

a few tears – but time spent that

leaves us with glad hearts. Full

hearts. Grateful hearts.

Special Needs:

Our special needs ministry is in need of more volunteers. Please find Sharon Marcus for more information.

Also, a special thanks goes out to all who have been helping with

this ministry. Your dedication and service is greatly appreciated and such a blessing!

Beginning October

Every woman is invited to participate. Expect a call in the next month inviting you to join a group. If the time a group meets does not work within your schedule, please do not hesitate to request another group. Groups meet once a month for two hours. It is a great way to connect with other women in our church and to build new lasting friendships.

Please call or text Melinda Sweany if you have questions (707) 227-8399.

Youth service will be moving from 9am to during

the church service.
