Rollerstar: a faster, better sorting machineThe rollerstar is the latest development in Aweta’s technology in fruit and vegetable grading and sorting. It is the result of a combination of a modern, compact base unit together with a new patented weighing and handling singulator.

The Rollerstar machine has been developed as a more user friendly application, with advantages for less floor space, more modern technology and more product friendliness.Every aspect of the process has added values which has not been seen before in grading and sorting technology.The machine is able to grade colour, weight and diameter in a faster, better and more efficient capacity. The technology is a combined effort using a modular frame construction and addresses the packing house space constraints. The conveying has two-sided delivery capability to the packing stations. This is an advantage in a one-lane or two-lane machine allowing packing on two sides.

The Rollerstar is perfect for all round fruits and vegetables in a wide range of sizes.Because of the unique frame, Aweta is able to design the machine for small products such as plumbs, prunes, stone fruit, citrus fruit, as well as for apples, tomatoes and even larger products. The Rollerstar carrier has been designed to be able to rotate products with a diameter of 40 – 110 mm. This enables the machine to analyse the product for good colour, diameter and defect grading to guarantee maximum quality.

Better Weighing AccuracyThe Rollerstar uses dual load cells and proprietary electronics and mechanics for high weight accuracy at high speed.
