Workforce Deployment Lead/GM Our customer is an Australian Icon and over the past year they have introduced into their national business an entirely new EVP. They have changed their focus and now it's all about opportunity and development for their people. To further support this leading edge people strategy, they have introduced a newly appointed business critical role, the Workforce Deployment Lead. Reporting directly to a Director, you will work at a senior level, providing strategy, direction and thought leadership across all roles within their national retail workforce (encompassing 100+ company owned stores), supporting the Retail Leaders capability and people plans, through training and the implementation of best practice people & culture strategies. Your key responsibilities will include
Liaising and delivering effective lines of communication with relevant business areas to ensure the assigned portfolio maximises its return to the business unit
Acting as a catalyst for change programs and seeking innovative best practice solutions for all aspects of workforce capability
Identify the capability requirements (recruit, train and retain) of the channel and feed into HR to design, build and deploy innovative solutions whilst managing engagement and embedding within the regions
Represent the local and unique diversity recruitment needs of the business and ensure these are
effectively recruited for and on boarded
Support OD for the deployment of induction, formal training, peer to peer learning networks and
coaching capability ensuring all channels are engaged and embedding these solutions
Directly manage the business accreditation and certification frameworks
So what you will bring to the role
A high degree of knowledge about the Telco Industry or similar large retail/IT environment
General Management experience with a HR or OD focus
Team leadership experience with a preference for empowering, coaching and engaging
Strategic thinking & ability to translate strategy into programs
Experience developing robust succession planning
Channel leadership experience (or related discipline)
Experience in developing people & culture strategies to support achieving organisational
objectives
Experience driving programs of work for revenue outcomes
Experience with complex senior stakeholder management to achieve alignment of goals
The ability to quickly analyse problems or opportunities & implement solutions
The ability to make tough decisions & a high level of emotional resilience
A focus on continual learning and improvement

Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 neg plus an attractive bonus structure CBD Location National Travel The opportunity to lead a team of specialist managers (x 3 direct reports & 6 indirects)
