    2.1 INDIAN PRESIDENT:

    Le,islati6e 5o+er is constit)tionally 6ested *y the Parliament of India of +hich the 5resident

    is the head7 to facilitate the la+ makin, 5rocess as 5er the constit)tion =#rticle 47 #rticle 4C7

    etc/>/ The President s)mmons *oth the &o)ses =the Lok Sa*ha and the Rajya Sa*ha> of the

    Parliament and 5roro,)es them/ &e can dissol6e the Lok Sa*ha/ C  #s 5er #rticle 7 the

    President shall a*ide *y the aid and ad6ice of the !o)ncil of "inisters headed *y the Prime

    "inister7 5ro6ided the ,i6en ad6ice is in accordance +ith the constit)tion/ #rticle 23 ,a6e

    #ll *ills 5assed *y the Parliament can *ecome la+s only after recei6in, the assent of the

    President/ #fter a *ill is 5resented to him7 the President shall declare either that he assents to

    the .ill7 or that he +ithholds his assent from it/ #s a third o5tion7 he can ret)rn a *ill to

    Parliament7 if it is not a money *ill or a constit)tional amendment *ill7 for reconsideration/

    When7 after reconsideration7 the *ill is 5assed and 5resented to the President7 +ith or +itho)t

    amendments7 the President cannot +ithhold his assent from it/ The President can also
