THE LAST TIME OUT: Rochester jumped out to a 4-1 lead behind three solo homers in the first three innings but Lehigh Valley rallied for a 6-5 win Thursday night at Coca-Cola Park. Tomás Telis and Jordany Valdespin went deep back-to-back in the 2nd and LaMonte Wade Jr also led off the 3rd with a home run. DJ Baxendale struck out six in 2.2 innings and Matt Magill threw a perfect inning with a strikeout in his second rehab appearance.

BACON BITS: Rochester has lost seven straight games against Lehigh Valley for the second time in three-plus years. The IronPigs also beat the Red Wings seven straight times from September 5, 2016 through May 17, 2017. That stretch was snapped on May 18 despite Lehigh Valley leading 7-1 in the 2nd inning. The losing skid against one team is the longest since the Wings lost 10 straight games against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre from April 12-July 7, 2010 and eight straight games against Charlotte from July 27, 2009 to August 2, 2010.
