Sign up begins February 10 at the Murray County 4-H Office, 2662 Mount Carmel Road, Chatsworth, GA 30705. Space

is available on a first come, first served basis. Payment of camp can be divided into as many payments as you need;

however, a deposit of $75 must be submitted with this application to reserve your spot for camp and the balance

must be re-ceived by May 16, 2019. No phone reservations will be accepted. For questions, please call our office at

706-695- 3031. Financial assistance is available on a limited basis; please contact our office for an application.

Applications for financial help due Friday, April 2nd for full consideration. Should you discover that your child is

unable to attend camp, you must contact our office at 706-695-3031 immediately. If we are unable to find a

replacement to fill your child’s spot, a minimum of $75.00 will be non-refundable. You must provide your own

transportation to and from Senior Extreme Camp.

2020 SENIOR CAMP Make plans to join 250+ of your friends from across the state for a week of Senior Camp at Rock Eagle 4-H

Center May 25—May 29, 2020! Plans will include a Memorial Day picnic, trip to the University of Georgia and

Funopolis Fun Center, fun classes and activities at camp, and a little competition between the Cherokee,

Shawnee, and Muskogee tribe. Who’s going to win the tribal shield? Sign up for camp and find out! Space is

limited so sign up early!

2020 SENIOR EXTREME CAMP It’s an exciting camp just for Senior 4-H’ers! It’s your chance to enjoy a week in the great outdoors! Senior

Extreme Camp will include: tree climbing, shooting shotguns, and fishing at Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center, zip-

ping SIX zip lines, canoes, archery, low ropes, herpetology, astronomy/star gazing, and the annual Gilligan’s

Island competition! We’ll night hike the trails at Rock Eagle visiting the Scott Place and Cemetery, watch a

movie outdoors, run milk with the Counselors, attend the Counselor Variety Show, participate in the Rock

Eagle Pageant and more! We’ll also cook meals on the grill and spend the night outdoors in tents or Enos at

Pioneer Camp at Rock Eagle. If you are an outdoors person who likes shooting, fishing, climbing, camping,

and roughing it, then Senior Extreme Camp is for you!

Optional this year: Whitewater Rafting the Ocoee River! You’ll arrive on Sunday, June 7, 2020. You will

travel to Wahsega 4-H Center to spend the night, raft the Ocoee River on Monday morning, then join every-

one back at camp Monday evening! Cost is $75 for this option.
