Rock Classics Festival @ Beaufort Castle On three separate weekends and once during the week, the Rock Classics festival offers hot rhythms, perfect for epic summer nights. During the day, it is also worth visiting the impressive castle ruin, the unique backdrop of the festival. But in any case, don't forget to try the cassis (blackcurrant) liquor, which is produced on site in the castle. The festival kicks off on Friday the 25 th July with Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, many of his hits have turned into proper classics. Those more in favour of a "Midweek" rock experience, will enjoy the performance by "Revolverheld" on Wednesday 30 th July. With their well-known hits and N1 of the German airplay-charts, the German rock band is set to get the public going. The famous jazz musician, bandleader and composer Klaus Doldinger, who is known for the TV and film themes of "Tatort" or "Das Boot", will perform on the 31 st July with the Luxembourgish jazz trio Khalifé - Schumacher - Tristano.
