Robots

There are many kinds of robots. Robots that fix cars, play tennis and much more. There was one robot who played the violin. It was awesome. Robots help companies make money, and robots never get tired or sleep.

ComputersTechnology is a very

important source of information. Without it, we will never have gone to the moon.

Charles Babbage invented the first computer. It was a basic calculator and it had a small memory. It was invented in 1946 after world war 2.

The first Pc (Personal Computer) was made in 1981. Way after the first computer calculator was made.

Why Computer? Why? Simple, they have opened the gates of communication: long distance communication! Without it we would not have any instant messaging systems or e-mails, so we would have to use inconvenient telegraphs or letters. Let’s face it: you’d go nuts without computers. You would lose contact with our friends.

How Do They Work?Simple…to explain…but not easy to master. Binary is one of the most complex of codes, why? Cause it sustains all the other codes! This code is called binary. It works with only 0 and 1, cause that’s what the computer can understand. When electrified, these numbers create a high and low charge. That is how we make all the other symbols: with 1’s and 0’s.

Will Nye’s Binary Lesson!

Today we will be learning how to do binary numbers! Now keep in mind, binary only has 2 numbers, 0 and 1, so if your number has 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 then it is wrong! First of all to do 1 is easy in binary: 1. How about 2? Let’s do 2! No! Wrong! There is no 2 in binary. There isn’t 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 either! So we go to the number we can make! 10! Then 3? What comes after 10? 11! It is the next number we can make! 4? Guess….100. Now you can do it! Probably….

Try to do 8, how about 19, or 1,000,000! It is my challenge! Muahaha!

Computer MemoryThere are two type of computer memories: RAM, and ROM.

RAM (Random Access Memory) can be altered by anyone but ROM (Read Only Memory) can not. That is their only difference.

Technology and School

Technology was never just there. Some random dude always had to invent it. Now when I say invent I’m pretty sure you all know what I’m getting to: Invention Convention. They must’ve won first place for generations!

The Haunted Lighthouse

About the Haunted Lighthouse

The Haunted Lighthouse was made by R.L. Stine, famed horror story author.

Plot Two siblings (older sister and younger brother) hear another tale

about the haunted lighthouse from the retired sailor.

They play in the sand for some time and then they get approached by a mysterious boy they’ve never seen before.

They decide to go out at night to explore the haunted lighthouse.

The mystery boy reveals he is actually a ghost and the siblings meet his sister, who turns out to be a very good singer. They get wildly chased around until they reach a compromise that they will turn on the lighthouse to lead the ghosts’ parents back to the ghost children.

After a struggle, the day is saved! So are the ghosts.

The End!

The Haunted Lighthouse and…. School?!

The Haunted Lighthouse is a movie, purely fun, kind of non-existent in school, but we rarely watch a movie. The Haunted Lighthouse is… a movie. So that is also a relation. Some examples are Doctor Who, The Simpsons, Dumb and Dumber, The Lifted Lorax, and the puberty video.
