HOW CAN ROBOTS HELP PEOPLE IN THEIR DAILY LIVES?

Robots can be very helpful in many ways. They can even help you and save your time. Here is a list of what robots can do:-• Help with laundry• Load and unload dishwashers• Do preparatory work for cooking meals (e.g., chopping vegetables)• Clean kitchen• Clean toilets and bathtubs• Pick up objects (e.g., toys, newspaper, clothes, sneakers) from the floor and move them to the right location• Unload groceries from the car parked in garage• Assemble furniture• Help with moving heavy objects• Answer phone when telemarketers call at dinner time

• Robots can save your time by doing your work for you.• Some robots can guard your home.• You can do your work faster because robots can work with you as

partners.• Some robots can even play with you.

ROBOTS ARE EXPENSIVE , BUT IS IT WORTH SPENDING YOUR MONEY FOR THEM?

• Some experts say that it is worth it because they will pay you back by helping you and by saving your time.• Also, there are some, that say you should not waste your

money on these expensive things.• However, many Countries, NASA, and even Military Forces

are requesting for money and robots like drones to help them.• Electronic Companies like Apple is spending over $10

billion on robots.

SOME DISADVANTAGES OF ROBOTS• Even though they can help people, here are some disadvantages of

the robots: 1) People can lose jobs in factories 2) It needs a supply of power 3) It needs maintenance to keep it running 4) It costs a lot of money to make or buy a robotThere are also medical robots that hospitals use during surgery or operation. Still there are disadvantages of them. One of these disadvantages is that it costs more to use a medical robot during surgery. The cost of the robot is $1,390,000 and an additional $1,500 per procedure. This is much more expensive than not using a medical robot.

ROBOTS AS ASSISTANTS• Some teachers in South Korea are using robots as their assistants. These

images in the last slide and this slide shows that robots will increasingly take over the whole world.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF ROBOTS TOOK OVER THE WHOLE WORLD

• If it happened, then people won’t get jobs and will not get paid. People and their families will have to suffer. Also, coming out of your home would be dangerous too. Some robots might even be the cause of people’s death. What Experts say is that they will definitely overtake humans. They even say that it will be very soon when the robots take over the whole world.

HOW CAN I TELL OTHER PEOPLE ABOUT ROBOTS?

• I can tell other people about what they will do for you. Also, I will mention some main advantages and disadvantages of robots. I can make posters/flyers and glue/send them different places. I can even make videos by using YOUTUBE.
