Current Activities

• Mission Operations– Provide mission planning, real-time flight control and

post-mission analysis for all missions using MSS

• Mobile Servicing System Training– Provide astronaut/cosmonaut training and

qualification for all MSS operators

• Logistics and Sustaining engineering– Provide detailed Sustaining Engineering and

Logistics support for MSS

• Ground Segment equipment and facilities– Provides MSS support for all missions using robotics

Impact of Budget Change

• More– Increased resources

• E.g., participation in Co-op programs

– More funds available for space research and development

– Transfer know-how to space exploration applications (e.g., Mars)

• Less– Challenge to fulfill current commitments
