Safety Precautions The precautions stated in this manual are provided for the customer to make the best use of this product safely, and to provide preventive measures against injury to the customer or damage to property.

Don't operate robot system in explosive environment.Improper installation may cause fire or serious injury.

Don't arrange wire or conduct maintenance work and inspection under hot line condition. Be sure to turn OFF power before 5 minutes in advance.Failure to do so may result in electric shock or person could be struck by electricity.

Use expertise of experts of respective fields for transportation , installation , wiring , operation , maintenance and inspection.Failure to do so may result in electric shock , serious injury or fire in equipment.

Don't damage cable or stress them abnormally or place heavy items on them or caught between other parts and devices.Failure to do so may result in electric shock , damage of mechanical and electrical components.

Be sure to connect power cable in accordance with the connector diagram.Failure to do so may result in serious injury, electric shock or fire.

During operation never touch robot rotator.This could result in serious injury.

While power is supplied , never approach nor touch power terminals.This could result in serious injury, struck by electricity.

GENERALBefore operation , maintenance and inspection , be sure to read USER`s MANUAL and follow the instructions detailed in the manual.Improper use may cause fire, injury or struck by electricity.

Do not use it without exchanging damaged control parts..Failure to do so may result in electric shock or damage of mechanical and electrical components.

The main body of the robot and the control box must have same production number.Failure to do so may result in electric shock , serious injury or fire in equipment.

There is temperature rise in parts of motor and control box used for robot.Don't touch , failure to do so may result in injury,

Check which side is up before unpacking..Failure to do so may result in injury or damage of mechanical and electrical components.

UNPACKINGCheck if what you have received are as per order or not.Installation of incorrect components may result in breakdown of product or may result in injury.

WIRINGDon't try to measure insulation resistance and dielectric strength as there units may get damaged.Improper use may cause fire, injury or struck by electricity.

Arrange cables in accordance with the technical Standard for electric facilities and the Extension rules.

Arrange cables correctly and securely.Failure to do so may result in mis-operation of robot.

INSTALLATIONDon't climb on robot unit or place heavy substance on them.Failure to do so may result in injury or damage of mechanical and electrical components.

Don't stop air inlets and outlets nor stop foreign matter in them.Failure to do so may result in fire.

Don't shake units badly.Units make get out of order or damage of mechanical and electrical components.

Never install these unit where they are exposed to splash of water , corrosive or inflammable gas or combustible substances.Failure to do so may result in electric shock , serious injury or fire in equipment.

OPERATIONWhen the teaching DATA is newly made , DATA must be confirmed by running robot at slow speed.Improper use may robot breakdown or failure of components.

During power supply is ON or just after power is turned OFF , don't touch amplifier radiator , regenerative resistor or motor , as they have been heated up due to temperature rise.Failure to do so may result in burning or injuring.

When alarm comes out , stop the robot then remove the cause and the check the system safety conditions.Failure to do so may result in electric shock or injury .

Check power supply specification. It should be normal.

MAINTENANCEWhen the teaching DATA is newly made , DATA must be confirmed by running robot at slow speed.Improper use may robot breakdown or failure of components.

The longevity of the battery being used by the main controller is 5 years. Please exchange it when the exchange instruction is displayed on the display screen ( HMI).Failure to do so will result in deletion of all DATA.

Note that fin there is temperature rise in servo motor , regenerative resistor and the amplifier. Be careful when you check and do maintenance.Failure to do so will result in burn , injury.

Each controllers life expectancy is 10 years, so it is recommended that they should be exchanged as a part of preventive maintenance.For all other electrical components it is similar.

TRANSPORTATIONDuring transportation , take extreme care not to drop or overturn these units.Failure to do so may cause serious damage to product.

STORAGEDon't store these units where they are exposed to water, rain drop , hazardous gas or liquid.Improper use may cause robot breakdown or failure of components.

OPERATIONDo not operate robot when robot cover is detached.Improper use may cause robot breakdown, failure of components or injury

MAINTENANCEDo not overhaul the system.Failure to do so may result in electric shock or serious injury .

Be sure to ground PE ( protective earth ) terminal of the first side of control box.Improper grounding can cause electric shock or fire.

Be sure to use within the voltage range indicated on the unit. Failure to do so may cause electric shock or fire.

Plug the power cord into the wall outlet firmly. Failure to do so can cause the input to heat up and may result in fire. Make sure that the power plug is clean.

Be sure to unplug the power cord from the wall outlet when you examine or grease or do to maintenance of the machine. Failure to do so may cause electric shock or fire.

Stop operation and unplug immediately whenever you sense any abnormalities, such as a pungent odor , disorder movement. Immediately contact the dealer from which you purchased the product. Continued operation may result in electric shock, fire or malfunction.

Install the product in a place which can endure it’s weight and while running. Conditions. Installation in an insufficient or unstable place can cause the unit to fall, overturn, breakdown, or overheat.

Be sure to take protective measures such as installing an area sensor or enclosure to avoid injury. The safety fence etc that enclose the robot equipment have to be prepared according to safety standard of host country.Entering the robot’s work range during operation could lead to injury.

Be sure to unplug the power cord from the wall outlet if the robot will remain unused for long periods of time. Gathered dust could lead to fire.

Be sure to use power in the proper voltage range. Failure to do so may result in fire or malfunction.

Turn off the unit before inserting and removing cables. Failure to do so may result in electric shock, fire, or malfunction of the unit.

Keep the emergency stop switch within reach of an operator while teaching and running the robot. Failure to do so may lead to danger since the robot cannot be stopped immediately and safely.

Regularly check that the emergency stop switch works properly. Failure to do so may lead to danger since the robot cannot be stopped immediately and safely.

Do not bump or jar the machine while it is being transported or installed. This can cause defects.

Use FUJI Robot in an environment between 0 to + 40 degrees centigrade with a humidity of 45% to 85 % without condensation. Failure to do so may result in malfunction.

Be sure to confirm that tools such as the electric screwdriver unit, etc. are properly connected. Failure to do so may result in injury or defect.

Check the mounting screws regularly so that they are always firmly tightened. Loose screws may cause injury or defect.

Be sure to check the wiring to the main unit. Improper wiring may cause malfunction or defect.

Be sure to secure the movable parts of the robot before transportation. Failure to do so may result in defect or injury.

STOP the robot and use teaching pendant while entering in the robot motion range.Failure to do so may result in serious injury.
