Trails At Robinson Nature Center Situated on 18 acres of land, our grounds include approximately one mile of rugged, wooded trails. Robinson’s trails are accessible to pedestrian traffic when the building is closed. However, if you are driving to the Center, please note that the parking lot gates are only open during the building’s hours of operaon (see back of brochure for hours). For safety reasons, the trail may be closed if there is maintenance scheduled or if there are high winds. Things To Remember Keep our trails wild. A variety of wildlife inhabit the nature center grounds. Please do not disturb wildlife you see. Leave dogs at home. Please do not bring dogs on our trails. Dogs may scare away wildlife that other visitors have come to see. Take only pictures. Please do not remove plants or wildlife. We encourage you to explore our trails, but please use cauon as poison ivy grows nearby. Leave only footprints. Please dispose of trash and recyclables properly. Recepcles are provided along sidewalks and inside the building. Take it slowly. These trails were designed for educaonal programs and the enjoyment of nature. As such, we ask that you refrain from running or biking here. Check yourself. Please take note that cks, which may carry Lyme Disease, exist in this area. For more informaon on how to avoid, check for, and remove cks, please look for informaon in the kiosk or ask at our front desk.
