Ever since Robin Laws’ beginnings in a two-room schoolhouse in the farming and ranching community of Woodrow, Colorado, she has aempted to de-scribe her surroundings, feelings, values, and dreams visually – through arsc expression.

LLaws loves the high plains, the wide open spaces, the subtle beauty of the grasslands where she has lived her enre life. She grew up there, as did her mother, her grandmother, and her grandmother’s mother. The inspiraon for her work is all right there.

MyMyron, Laws’ husband, and she share their ranchland home with 3 Angora goats, 20 chickens, 5 geese, 4 ducks, 2 ponies, 2 horses, 8 cats, 1 dog, and 3 much-loved burros. There animals and the wildlife of the surrounding plains and grasslands provide Laws with ever-changing inspiraon for her sculptures.
