FADE IN

EXT. THE RED KEEP - NIGHT

The rain falls vastly over the rocks of the RED KEEP, in the silent night.

CUT TO:

INT. THE THRONE ROOM - NIGHT

In the room are SER ELYS WESTERLING and Lord ROLAND CRAKEHALLchatting. Behind them stands up Lord TYWIN LANNISTER. In the feet of the IRON THRONE lies dead King AERYS TARGARYEN II. Sat on the IRON THRONE is JAIME LANNISTER, with a bloodied blade on his lap, and a dark grin on his face.

EDDARD STARK, Also called Ned, The Ned, or The Quiet Wolf. A man of 19 years, member of House Stark. Brother of LyannaStark, Benjen Stark and Brandon Stark, son of Rickard Stark and Lyarra Stark. One of the leaders of the rebellion, commander in the battles of The Bells, The Trident and The Tower of Joy. Dark hair that drifts away in long but opaque straight lines hide the back of his face, a well-grown and well taken care of beard accompanied by a soft moustache hide most of his jaw, with only thick and sad lips visible. Dark grey eyes reflecting cold as his hometown moods, and a long face are other physical aspects of his, besides him being of average height and not very comely. "Ned" is known for having an undisputable, unwavering sense of honor and justice, kindness to those who are near him and those who aren't, although some consider him cold and reserved in face of anything and anyone. He enters the IRON THRONE room with a crooked door sound.

NED STARK (V.O.)How did we get here?...

CUT TO:

EXT. THE BATTLEFIELD - NIGHT

A man with armor on a horse cuts through another’s man head in the battlefield. It’s the dead of night, and it’s raining. Screams are heard.

The weary eyes of Ned Stark look coldly into JAIME LANNISTER.

NED STARK (V.O.)...How did we give up all we had?...

CUT TO:

EXT. THE BATTLEFIELD - DAY

NED STARK is fighting a swordsman, armored. He shields one of his sword blows and immediately deals a blow himself, killing the swordsman.

CUT TO:

INT. THE THRONE ROOM - NIGHT

The back of the IRON THRONE is focused on camera, with JAIME’S shoulders slightly blurred. The hundreds of blades of the throne are stained with blood.

NED STARK (V.O.)...This wasn’t necessary. We could have reached this in a civilized way. Couldn’t we?...

CUT TO:

EXT. THE BATTLEFIELD - DAY

It’s overcast. We see two legions of warriors about to collide into war.

CUT TO:

INT. THE THRONE ROOM - NIGHT

NED STARK walks up slowly to the IRON THRONE. All of the present look at him. Once he’s in front of JAIME, he just stares at him.

NED STARK (V.O.)...How did we get a new king?

JAIME LANNISTER’s yellow teeth show themselves as he releases a low pitched laugh.

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. HARRENHAL - DAY

Moving across the distinct rooms of the castle of HARRENHAL, we meet two brothers discussing an affair. It’s WALTER WHENT, Lord of HARRENHAL, and OSWELL WHENT, of the KINGSGUARD. The first one wears a dark grey iron armor, an armor that shows being worn before. A black cape covers his back. Chestnut short hair and thick beard cover most of his face. The latter wears a shiny silver armor, with the WHENT symbol drawn on the helmet.
