I take three classes at Forsyth Tech.. DBA 110 - Database Concepts, NOS 110 – Operating Systems Concepts, and

NET 110 – Networking Concepts. Maybe that doesn’t sound like much, but these are three major subjects that will

require a great deal of work from week to week. NOS began with four projects, DBA with 2 Projects, NET with 2. I

will be devoting every possible moment to my classes and will produce excellent work and will know what the hell I’m

doing when I graduate. My major is Web Technologies which will require expertise in the three, above subjects along

with Website Design… and some other things. Later on I believe I will begin to include Application Programming with

a focus on Linux. Database management is also something I will take beyond the requirements for the associate degree

and website design will come at some point. I may transfer to a four year school.

Not being able to drive is definitely an issue, but I am in the solution. I already have a Toyota Prius and will soon

regain my license… maybe a couple of months. Everything I do is a priority so it comes down to time management. I

chose the night classes for the sole purpose of being able to work a part time job during the day… so it has been my

objective all along… prior to school, it was for a full time job and you can see progress in that area here:

The web page needs updating, but I don’t have time for that right now.

Employers will not hire me because of my background check… which includes no felonies. Jobs in a couple of places

are still up in the air… such as Office Depot where I have done everything including the drug test and am waiting for

the background check to come back… I have no desire whatsoever to use savings for rent when I could be working.

Some employers have wanted to hire me and a few have become enthusiastic about it… until the background check

shows up… so I just keep trying.

I should also mention that I am very grateful that Oxford House is here to provide a home that is affordable and

walking distance from school –and other things— along with the support that comes with it….

The day after the Jan. 1st Holiday I was already planning to head to Labor Ready first thing in the morning and had

already signed up for it so I could. Labor Ready was a waste of time so I met with many people in the printing business

and learned that there was really no point in pursuing that any more. That was instrumental in me changing my major

from Graphics and Imaging, something I already have many years of experience in anyway, to Web Technologies…

something I can and will be successful in.

I’ll just leave out the school stuff from now on… it just takes more time to try and keep track of that and according to

Larry, going to school means nothing anyway. You might be interested to know that I have never been behind on the

rent since I have been there… since July 31, 2013. You can also be sure that I stay quite busy with never ending

projects from the three major classes I am currently taking… Database, Networking, and Operating Systems. Those

classes are meant to be taken in separate semesters because of the heavy workloads that come with them.

I already have 4 assault on a female charges on my record. I never touched those girls (wife, girlfriend) and they were

angry and just wanted to get me locked up …and all of those were thrown out of court. One of them was found guilty

in district court – she got angry at me, because a girl called my phone, while we were on our way to the courthouse—

and was thrown out of superior court, but on the background check it looks like I was guilty and the dismissal does not

show that is was that one and all the charges are on there so it looks like I’m violent…. Hell, I was the one who called

the law, except for one of them, and they got locked up as well. Then there are the DWI’s. Two in recent history and I

am taking the DWI classes to get the license back. I already own a Toyota Prius and will be driving that in about 5

weeks. They put all the DWI’s on the check though and there were a lot of them many years ago along with an auto

larceny… which was me driving around in the fire chief’s car thinking it was my car… black out. Then there is one

misdermeaner larceny about 5 years ago and one communicating a threat …which never even really happened. Then

there is the loitering for the purpose of buying drugs charge/ticket. So now, anyone who runs a background check

thinks I am a drunken, thieving, violent wife beater on drugs and they would be more likely to hire an x-felon than me.

So…. The last thing that I need is someone calling a prospective employer to ask them if I had been there trying to get

a job because I’m in an Oxford House which is a place for recovering drug addicts and alcoholics and “we think he’s

lying about looking for job so we’re checking up on him.” I have been to every one of those places, to the detrimate of

my school work, and not only asked for a job and how to get one there, but got their names, business cards in many

cases, and paper applications when they had them them… sat down and spent all this time making this list for you

instead doing something productive. Not only that… you can go to the web page I made that displays my work search

history along with more detailed information and if you want to start calling them, you just go right ahead and have at

it… none of those people wanted to hire me anyway and if they may have been thinking about it then you can go ahead

and help them make up their mind. There… now you have something important to do… have a nice day.
