One never sees them and barely hears them, but they are the many hidden actuators, which make

a vehicle comfortable and safe. Whether it is seats, windows, roofs, steering columns, tailgates,

engine compartment applications or proven Bosch developments such as ABS and ESP®: With our

actuators you will fulfi ll your customers’ highest requirements.

When we continue to further develop our actuators, our main focus is on noise level, size and

weight in addition of course to functionality. This means we wrestle with every gram that can be

saved, so we can make our contribution to reducing fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions. Our ac-

tuators are convincing performers thanks to the highest level of reliability and their fl exibility in

confi guration and application.

Comfortable air conditioning for engine and vehicle interior

Vehicles with combustion, hybrid and electric engines require optimum thermal management in

their wide range of operating conditions and under extreme weather infl uences, so they can

work effi ciently and economically, while at the same time off ering the occupants a comfortable

interior environment. We have a wide range of engine cooling modules and actuators for coolant

circulation to suit every requirement and category of vehicle. Our energy-effi cient fans off er the

driver maximum comfort while at the same time ensuring low fuel consumption. We have in-depth

know ledge of the overall thermal systems of vehicles as well as extensive experience of all appli-

cations. Combined with our know-how in the areas of aerodynamics, acoustics, electro-mechan-

ics and electronics, we are able to develop solutions, which precisely match the performance of

the cooling system in every situation to the cooling requirement of the particular engine.

Clear view in all driving situations

We cannot infl uence the weather, but we can infl uence the view of the occupants. Our wide

range of front and rear wiper systems off ers solutions for every vehicle and every window. The

perfect cleaning of the windows ensures that there is always a clear view and a safe journey in

all driving situations.

Our focus is on the quiet operation and long service life of our products, as well as on the reduc-

tion of fi tting space and weight, so that fuel can be saved and CO₂ emissions cut. This enables

us to off er our customers more free space for their vehicle design.

Emission-free on the move

eMobility is one of the solutions to the global problems of scarce fossil fuels and the impact on

the climate caused by CO₂. We are developing and manufacturing innovative electrical drive

units for eBikes – these are bicycles with convenient electrical-drive assistance, which are in-

creasingly gaining importance.

In response to the increasing motorization in the Chinese market, we are developing and manu-

facturing locally hub-wheel direct drives, which are used on electrically driven eScooters. Our

proximity to the Chinese eScooter manufacturers enables us to create close and fl exible cooper-

ation. The system expertise from Bosch off ers our customers optimum integration of the individu-

al components, and it ensures the highest performance in terms of convenience and capability.
