Then and now

The people who lived in the past used horses to get around. Like getting to school and home again. Now we use cars to get

around especially for really long distances for example Queenstown and Dunedin.

They used candles in the past some people still use candles now because they have no electricity.

We use lamps these days but some poor people use candles.

They had to light a fire to get the stove to work and Light a fire to warm you.

We use electric stoves and poor people use fire stoves.

They played games like knuckle bones,elastics,marbles,hopscotch and string games.

Now we play with puzzles and Lego and minecraft
