Could You Survive in a Teen Dystopia? An Interactive Game ShowMANHATTAN :: Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, Margaret Liebman Berger Forum Wed, Mar 28; 6 p.m.Do you feel a special kinship with Katniss? Are chocolate and coffee banned substances in your world? Would you sell your youth to save your life? Find out how well you’d fare in a post-apocalyptic world by playing an original game show that’s inspired by some of the hottest titles in teen literature, from The Hunger Games to The Zombie Survival Guide.

TeenLIVE reaches teens culturally, artistically, inspirationally, technologically, and beyond with the biggest, best, and brightest stars. The programs shine a spotlight on current cultural trends and important mainstays that inform the lives of today’s teens.

TeenLIVE programs are sponsored by the Katerina and Andreas C. Dracopoulos Family Endowment for Young Audiences.

ON THE COVERThe cover of this issue of UpRoar features original artwork by Cory Levy. The 17-year-old Brooklyn student spends many of his afternoons at Teen Central at Grand Central on East 46th Street. Cory and other students—including a group from the nearby High School of Art & Design—gather to talk, relax, do homework, and

create art. An exhibition of teens’ drawings, paintings, collages, and more, organized by librarian Rodger Taylor in collaboration with the High School of Art & Design, opens at Grand Central on April 30 and runs through the end of June. Come check it out!
