NEW IN-HOUSE EXPLORER ROLL-OUT
The Luxcore Explorer has been under continuous development for some time. Its purpose is to provide a reliable, easy-to-use blockchain explorer for all LUX holders as well as future partners.
During the development phase, we added a suite of new features to the explorer in order to improve trans-parency for the end user and to ensure the most important information is available instantly.
When using Luxcore’s in-house explorer, users can be sure that they will find all the information they need in just a few clicks!

POS MOBILE WALLET RELEASE
We’re excited to announce the rollout of our new Luxcore Proof-of-Stake (PoS) Mobile Wallet for Android / iOS. The Mobile Wallet is a follow up to our already first-of-a-kind PoS web wallet for storing LUX. At Luxcore, we’ve been striving to bridge the gap between everyday users and highly technical concepts which would otherwise just be mere buzzwords to most.
Instead of being passive observers, Luxcore users can jump right in and have a direct hand in the Luxcore ecosystem’s distributed consensus and function. Settlement and execution of Luxcore storage and transac-tions are now literally at every user’s fingertips as the PoS Mobile wallet enables you to send and receive LUX on the go, all while remaining confident that your funds and information are protected.

Luxcore team members John McAfee, Cosmin and John Kim will be featured in a spot for InnovateTV, which will have its first airing in the United States. InnovateTV airs to a national audience of 2.6 million people in all major markets from coast to coast.
LUX QT WALLET UPDATE + DARK VERSION
The Lux QT Wallet will be updated throughout the year, but after several requests from the community, in this specific quarter we have decide to produce a dark version of the wallet.
LUXGATE ALPHA RELEASE
We will finally see an alpha version of Luxgate during Q2. This alpha version will allow us to test and debug the platform with restricted functionality as we move toward the Beta release planned for Q3.
What is Luxgate ?
Luxgate is nothing short of a technological marvel in the blockchain space. With Luxgate, you don’t have to worry about sending your coins from your wallet to an exchange, like you would with numerous "DEXs". The trades carried out using our DEX (Luxgate) are truly peer-to-peer, wallet to wallet.
The number of blockchains has grown and is expanding at an accelerating rate. In the future, this number could reach millions. It would be a very frustrating experience if these blockchains failed to interact with each other and instead functioned in isolated ways.
Luxgate addresses the issue by allowing blockchains to interact with each other through cross-chain swaps. The technology offers a peer-to-peer protocol that connects different blockchain nodes and enables them to provide microservices to each other.
With Luxgate, you can trade a list of coins supported by the Luxgate platform. Also, you do not need to regis-ter for KYC, which again protects your identity. Luxgate is 100% trustless and allows you to remain in complete control of your coins at all times, as you trade peer-to-peer directly from your wallet.
PARALLEL MASTERNODES / DFS (BETA TESTING)
PMN - parallel masternode. A new layer of masternodes in the Luxcoin network that implements DFS function-ality using its own protocol. PMNs are completely independent of the usual Luxcoin masternode networks and do not support their protocol. PMNs organize a network among themselves, by collaborating with the usual masternodes.
To install a PMN, a Luxcoin network user does not need to undergo additional checks or block any amounts of coins on his account (as was done for ordinary masternodes). They simply need to have ‘s’ GB of free disk space (‘s’ in the current implementation is a constant network parameter that is the same for all PMNs).

SMART CONTRACTS IMPROVEMENT
We will be optimizing our Smart Contract (SC) system to enable us to process transactions a lot faster than we do currently. One of the major improvements to the SC system is that we will now allow PoS blocks to process smart contracts – effectively doubling our efficiency with just one update. We will update our roadmap with all the ongoing improvements to the smart contract system so you can keep up-to-date with our progress.
DAPPS INCUBATION INCENTIVES
We are planning to launch an incubation incentive right after the smart contract layer is fully optimized, in order to attract talented developers to our chain. The incentive is yet to be finalized, but will be updated here in due course.
DAPPS ON LUX CHAIN
Luxcore will be deploying some smart contract applications on the chain for testing purposes, but we are also planning to develop our own dApps to serve a purpose in our ecosystem. Our internal work combined with the incubation program should rapidly grow the number of transactions processed every day on our chain.
SCHNORR SIGNATURE IMPLEMENTATION
A Schnorr signature is a digital signature scheme invented by Claus Schnorr that is lauded on account of its simplicity. One of the main benefits of Schnorr is multisignature aggregation, which can benefit both data scaling and privacy. Traditional LUXcoin transactions include a lot of data like multiple inputs, but Schnorr’s method simplifies this process by creating a single merged signature. For instance, when a multitude of LUX-coin signatures produce one aggregated signature, it is estimated that Schnorr’s scheme could reduce block-chain storage and bandwidth by at least 25 percent.
In addition to this advantage, the operation helps produce better privacy when combined with different proto-cols. One example privacy benefit Lundeberg notes is called “Hiding as P2PKH,” which allows an aggregation scheme with the standard pubkey script that Pays To PubKey Hash (P2PKH).
MUSIG (SCHORR MULTISIG) DEPLOYMENT
MuSig is a simple multi-signature scheme that is novel in combining:
• support for key aggregation• security in the plain public-key model
A multi-signature scheme is a combination of a signing and verification algorithm, where multiple signers (each with their own private/public key) jointly sign a single message, resulting in a single signature. This single signature can then be verified by anyone who also knows the message and the public keys of the signers.
WEB WALLET TOKEN MANAGEMENT FEATURE
The PoS Web Wallet will be updated so people can easily manage all the tokens they own from the Lux chain.
EXPLORER TOKEN MONITORING
In line with the web wallet token management tool, the explorer will also be updated to follow any transac-
tions that are made on the chain between tokens.
WHITEPAPER 3.0
With all the changes over the past few months it is time for the team to revamp our whitepaper with more
accurate information and, most specifically, to include all the progress we have made since v2.0.
LEGAL AGREEMENTS FINALIZED
Legal Agreements will be completed to protect us and the clients that will want to pay to use our products.
This is necessary in order to be able to scale our adoption in a secure way.
MONETIZING OUR CURRENT PRODUCTS (IN LUX)(POS WEB WALLET, POS MOBILE WALLET, CUSTOM EXPLORER)
During Q2, everything will be put in place to start offering our products to the market. We are currently look-ing to start monetizing the PoS Web Wallet, PoS Mobile Wallet and our fully customizable Blockchain Explorer. All products are planned to be paid fully in Lux by the clients to create movement in our ecosystem. DECENTRALIZED FILE SYSTEM NEW PRODUCTS
We are excited to announce that we will be developing products over our Decentralized File System Layer.

LUXGATE BETA RELEASEThe Luxgate beta release will be more wildly open to the public. With the help of everyone we will be able to run stress tests on the network and also play with all the features that Luxgate will have to offer at Launch. We are expecting to allow a 1 month period for the Beta testing before rolling out the official release.
LUXGATE OFFICIAL RELEASEThe official release of Luxgate will be accompanied by a marketing campaign. As for now (March 2019) you can expect Luxgate to require no registration of any sort and no trading fees other than the blockchain’s basic fees for a transaction.
PARALLEL MASTERNODES / DFS FULLY IMPLEMENTED
Our Decentralized File System (1st parallel masternodes layer) should be fully implemented on our chain early
in Q3 to allow us to start connecting / developing our first products that will lay on top of the DFS.
DFS PRODUCTS DEVELOPMENT
Development of our DFS products will kick off in Q3. More information in terms of milestones after the launch
will be issued during Q2.
APPLE WATCH MONITORING APPLICATIONIn addition to our amazing Blockchain products, we’ll be developing an Apple Watch Monitoring Application. This application will allow you to follow the price action directly from your watch and also be notified every time you get a stake in your wallet.
LUX CHAIN UPDATE TO POSV3
In order to make our chain more resistant to attack, we will update our PoS system to v3.0 which will add
more security to our chain to fight against bad actors.
LUX WEB3 INTERFACE HOST
Lux web3 Interface Host is a hosted Luxcoin node cluster that lets users run your application without requiring
them to set up their own Luxcoin node or wallet.
You may not be familiar with web3 Interface Hosts, but if you've used MetaMask then you will have come into contact with the web3 Interface Host that powers it.
For security reasons, our web3 Interface Host will not manage your private keys, which means our web3 Interface Host cannot sign transactions on your behalf.
This is an essential milestone for the development of our Web3 Interface during Q4.

DFS PRODUCT BETA TESTING
Decentralized File System products should be available for beta testing during Q4 to allow us to start 2020
with the powerful release of a range of new products.
LUX WEB3 INTERFACELux web3 interface is a browser extension that lets you run dApps without being part of the Luxcoin network as a Luxcoin Node. Instead, it lets you connect to our Lux web3 interface host and run smart contracts on that Node. The Lux web3 interface manages your Luxcoin wallet, which contains your Lux (or money), and allows you to send and receive Lux through your dApp of choice.
LUX ADDRESS VISUALIZER
Lux Address visualizer is a graphical representation of Luxcoin addresses so you can quickly check to make
sure it's the address you expect.
LUXCORE DAPPS UNVEILLING
With the addition of our Lux web3 interface host and Lux web3 interface, Luxcore will unveil the dApps project
to the public.
ZERO KNOWLEDGE PROOFS IMPLEMENTATIONIn Cryptography, a zero-knowledge proof or zero-knowledge protocol (ZKP) is a method by which the Prover can prove to the Verifier that a given statement is true. The Prover must do this without conveying any addi-tional information other than the True Statement.
You may be wondering, why would you want to do such a thing? Imagine that you have a secret that you don’t want to reveal to anyone, but you want to prove that you know what the secret is. Zero-knowledge protocols make this possible for cryptographic transactions, where typically you want to prove that a transaction is valid without revealing the details of the transaction.
